Benedict Barn is beautifully furnished & very comfortable. The views are gorgeous. Sitting in the hot tub looking out onto the fields was a highlight. The owners were very friendly & so helpful & kind when we had car trouble & they also left us a delicious hamper including homemade cakes. The cottage was impeccably clean. The space is just amazing and open yet cosy and warm. Theyve thought of everything and with homemade very nice cakes on arrival. The hamper was incredibly generous so thank you. The hot tub was epic! Easy to understand instructions for that and everything else. Comfy beds. Comfy sofas. Nice bathrooms and showers. TRead morehe view out the back is glorious. The only downside is it is near a road that on Friday evening was really busy and full beam headlights. Rest of the weekend it wasnt busy at all. Its certainly not a deal breaker with bedroom blinds if you want to use them but helpful to know. Everything was amazing and relaxing and we could have stayed much longer! Hope to return at some point. Hide

We would just like to say how amazing our stay at the Priory barns were. The views are simply stunning, we had booked a stay at Benedict and were warmly greeted by Amy who made our stay as comfortable as possible. Fabulous little break for myself and the family in the lovely Benedict Barn. Beautiful place to stay with lots of attention to details including special towels for the hot tub which we used a lot as the evenings were dark and it was great to look over the fields under the stars. Loved the goody box, doggy treats and Birthday cake. My daughter and IRead more indulged in a very relaxing back massage hosted by Amy. We shall certainly be back again!!! Hide

Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 11 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 17 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 18 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 20 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Ickworth House, Park & Gardens - IP29 5QE
about 26 Miles
The National Trust Ickworth House, Park & Gardens is a Beautiful 1800 acre country estate with many attractions including a fantastic adventure playground for the children and a range of nature trails which the whole family will enjoy. The site also has a family friendly cycle route a gift shop and a small café
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 27 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
National Horse Racing Museum - CB8 8JL
about 27 Miles
This is a museum with a difference and a must see if you are into horse racing.  You can take guided tours around the museum or choose to wander round yourself admiring the exhibits.  New for 2010 is a Junior Fun Tour which is ideal for children.  Simply ask the gallery staff for a Fun Tour pack when you enter the museum and kids can answer questions and spot clues and tips on the way round.  One of the most popular recent exhibitions is the Thoroughbred: State of the Art exhibition in Gallery 5 on until 31st October.  Check out their websites for the latest exhibitions.
