Swallows Rest is a real gem! Tucked away at the end of a peaceful road, it overlooks the stunning Irvin's garden with those lovely fields beyond. We had a busy week exploring loads of spots like the Dad's Army Museum, Charles Burrell Museum, Suffolk Punch Trustand the National Trust’s Flatford. Plus, we loved wandering through charming villages like Kersey, Monks Eleighand Lavenham. Definitely don’t miss the walk to the Detectorist’s church nearby - it’s worth it! Such a lovely stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hosts, Peter and Karen, were so welcoming and thoughtful. They surprised us with a bottle of wine and a vase of flowers when we arrived, which was lovely. During the week, we appreciated the freshly laid eggs and the home-grown plums before we left. The location was peaceful and perfect for a quiet break, with a balcony that was great for our dog and a lovely spot to relax while looking at the garden. Plus, there are walks right from the doorstep, so no need to drive anywhere. We’d definitely come back!
