Lovely clean cottage, not too far from city centre and metro centre, very peaceful and would recommend to any one wanting a quiet retreat.

Me and my boyfriend absolutely loved our time at this cottage. We felt so so relaxed from the minute we arrived. Massy welcomed us when we arrived to show us around, he was so lovely and made us feel very welcome. We would 100% stay here again. The hot tub is amazing so I would definitely recommend paying extra for it. We couldnt have faulted anythRead moreing, the cottage was absolutely spotless too. Thanks for a lush stay; it made my boyfriends birthday Hide

Thank you for having us, we had a great time. The host was great, friendly and very helpful. That being said, the bed upstairs is very uncomfortable and squeaky. My feet were also hanging out of the end of the bed by a good bit too. I appreciate that I'm fairly tall at 6'3", but the footboard was around 1/3rd of the way up my leg if I laid out straRead moreight. Everything else was great but I didn't sleep well at all. All in all I would definitely stay again! Hide

Just to make you aware you are in the owners back garden They never bothered us at all I just felt a little uncomfortable as no blinds or curtains on that side of the cottage All so the roads are not quite and there is a constant humming noise from the work site and trains so its not peaceful when out side later on
Emily
Lovely cottage and beautifully furnished. The location is excellent, and although in the grounds of the owners property it was extremely private. We used the cottage as a base to travel to both Newcastle and Durham which was extremely convenient. The hot tub is a great addition but a little pricey for three nights.
Keith
Recently stayed here for 4 nights, i was really impessed with the property, its location and the owner was lovely to my kids and myself. The hot tub was also great.
Louise
Had a lovely week here. Enjoyed using the hot tub even though the weather wasn't great. Good location to get around and see the sights.
Aimad
Brilliant stay , owner was very welcoming and friendly , would recommend anyone who wants to stay as it was outstanding. Hot tub was excellent!

The cottage was lovely would definitely stay again. I didn't realise and was abit disappointed that you have to pay extra for the use of hot tub, beds were very hard but something I'm just not used to but lovely people great location and would defo stay again.
Reginald
I wouldn't describe the cottage as luxurious. The loft bed was extremely uncomfortable. I felt spring in the mattress and when turning over the squeaky springs were horrendous keep us awake.
Clare
Had a lovely 3 night break here. Massy, one of our hosts met us and made us feel very at home with the property. It was warm and well equipped and having an undercover hot tub with outdoor lighting was a great feature. Its location for Newcastle and Northumberland was fantastic.
George
Was very clean and comfy and the hot tub is amazing. Got a Bluetooth speaker to connect your phone to as well. 15 mins away from Newcastle town centre so dead easy to get to.
Angela
Lovely house, spotless clean. Quiet spot, hot tub was lovely and hot., really enjoyed our stay only 10 minutes from the Metro centre by car.
Alan
A very well appointed cottage which was in a location which suited us very well, we were able to visit places both in Northumberland and Durham.
Sajid
A beautiful cottage in a very convenient location for Newcastle / Sunderland as just off the A1. The owner was extremely pleasant and very hospitable, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. The accomfation itself is very classy with almost everything you need for a short stay provided. You have barbecue facilities, loungers, hot tub (extra cost- could be more reasonable), garden area. The surrounding views are picturesque and you get countryside living within half a mile of a Sainsburys supermarket.
Emma
Absolutely fantastic holiday cottage. The privacy just cannot be underestimated. You are only a stones throw from the city but could be in the middle of nowhere. Beds are a little hard so beware if you are side sleeper but the comfort and quality of the finishes both inside and out are lovely. Paying extra for the hot tub when you arrive is a littl e cheeky but honestly its worth it. We had a wonderful time.
Charlie
The owner was lovely and met us on arrival and showed us how to use the facilities. The property was clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect as it was only a short drive to the town centre. The hot tub was amazing and the speakers connected made it even better. We would definitely recommend staying here and we would love to come back again!
Dean
A modern, well furnished property in a perfect location for access to Tyneside and Wearside. Beamish and Gibside National Trust are close by and Team Valley Retail Park is just 5 minutes drive.
Karen
Great cottage, very clean. Excellent location for access to many places.
Alexander
Lovely place, well equipped. The hot tub is fantastic. The welcome we received was a little bit odd, I seemed to get accused of trying to open the hot tub even though I hadn't. The location is good with an easy drive into central Newcastle but there isn't really anything within walking distance. The hot tub is an additional charge on arrival so be aware of that, not cheap either at 170 for 2 nights. We also didn't get left any tea/coffee and there is no shampoo in the bathrooms.
William
Everything was brilliant from the moment we arrived, lovely accommodation, great facilitys, and perfect distance to the city and other restaurants and amenities surrounding it, Highly Recommended
Ann
Beautiful holiday home with very modern design. The layout and furniture provided all we needed for a two couple stay. We loved the light airy feel but surprisingly. Great open aspect enhanced by deer appearing in field every morning - surprising for its situation. Great location for visiting lots of NE attractions. It was immaculately clean. Just noisy through night in upstairs bedroom owing to adjacent railway yard.
Carys
We had the perfect getaway for my friends birthday, it was beautifully clean and looked even better in person than the pictures. The owners are absolutely lovely and came to talk through everything and welcome us. The only negative I have is the 165 extra charge for use of the hot tub, we stayed 3 nights but only had access to the tub for the first 2 days so they can clean it out. Price seemed a little excessive on top of the price of the lodge. Over all amazing stay! Will be returning!
Paris
Would 100% recommend! Lovely property, really clean and good location. Will definitely be coming back!
Steph
Excellent cottage. Well equipped and comfy, lovely hosts Good location with easy access to areas of Northumberland. Definitely recommend
Mark
Another fantastic stay. We will be back again next year.
Fred
Lovely place had a great time would definitely stay again
Zelina
Very nice cottage with premium hot tub. Lovely and clean throughout. Good value for money.
Gemma
Cottage is in an excellent location close to everything we wanted to do in Newcastle. Hot tub was an expensive extra but made our little holiday that bit more special. Only criticism of the cottage is mattress on both beds were extremely hard and could do with a memory form mattress topper to soften them up slightly.
