Welcome to Yeoman Farmhouse, a historic home located in the picturesque village of Newchurch on the Isle of Wight. This spacious farmhouse sleeps up to 10 guests and offers five comfortable bedrooms, making it ideal for families or groups of friends.

As you step inside, you'll find a cosy dining room connected to a well-equipped kitchen.

Appley Park is a great place for families with young children to spend the day and is especially popular during the summer months. Within the park is a playground with pirate ship, a selection of slides and swings and a pathway leading down to a lovely sandy beach. The nearby seafront also has many attractions including a paddling pool and a 9 hole Pitch and Putt course as well as a water play area.

Play & Farm Park - PO31 8PE

about 8 Miles

Described as the Isle of Wight's multi activity and play Farm park this attraction will really appeal to families looking for a fun day out. Recently improvements have been made to enlarge the straw fun play barn and this is now the biggest indoor play space on the island. This farm is now split into separate attractions, the play barns and petting farm which include rides on tractors and trailors and the tractor driving experience. Open all year this place is also excellent value for money.

Blue Reef Aquarium - NE30 4JF

Blue Reef Aquarium is an award winning attraction which takes visitors on an under water journey through the British Isles, the Mediterranean to a stunning Coral Reef. The centre has over 40 different displays with everything from Sharks to Stingrays there to see. A walk through the amazing underwater tunnel is the real highlight with hundreds of colourful fish to spot. Another favourite attraction is the adorable family of Otters who have a fantastic outdoor enclosure with breathtaking sea views. A recent addition to the site is the Blue Reef Beach Club & Splash Play - A wet play zone for children which is a big hit in the summer.

Fort Victoria is many attractions in one convenient location. What once was a historically important fort is now home to a Marine Aquarium, a Model Railway, a Sea Bed Archaeology Exhibition and a Planetarium. The Country Park also offers delightful woodland walks. Countryside Rangers are on hand to give guided walks of the seashore and the woodland. Admission to the park is free of charge but each of the attractions incur a small charge.

Royal Victoria Country Park - SO31 5GA

Royal Victoria Country Park is highly recommended for a day out in the summer and has lots of things for children to do. There are woodland trails to explore with free maps and guides available. There are also several play areas, one for older children, one for the little ones and one for disabled children so no one is left out of the fun. Within the grounds there is also a heritage site, a tea room and a formal garden.

Go Ape in Hampshire offers a unique opportunity for energetic adults and children over 10 to let off steam. This is a really fun and memorable attraction which is suitable for day trips or short breaks. You can buy your tickets online which will help you beat the queues especially in school holidays as well as save money. With a whole host of attractions and thrilling rides there might not be enough time in the day! Exciting rides include the Edge and The Cobra. More family friendly rides for younger children include the Magic Carpet Ride and the Flying Frog. The brand new Peppa Pig World features 7 amazing new rides and an Indoor Play Area to keep the little ones amused for hours. Of course those looking for more adrenaline boosting activities will not be disappointed either as there are over 60 rides in total to try out. The mighty Edge ride and the terrifying Cobra rollercoaster are the ones to go for if white knuckle rides are your thing. Live entertainment is also on offer several times throughout the season including some amazing family shows such as "The Light Fantastic" which takes place this October.
