Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a lovely location. Close to everything but in a lovely, quiet area. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly! Hot tub was a real treat, especially as we were lucky with the weather!

We have just had a lovely stay at Dartmoor Cottage. Situated on a hill top so the views are stunning. The property is clean and cosy and we felt so comfortable there. The property owners are really nice and accommodating. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and the Nespresso machine was a great addition. And the cream tea was a very welcome surprise on arrival. Thank you so much for a brilliant stay.

Just returned from a week at Dartmoor cottage.Location is around 25 mins drive from nearest beaches but area cottage is in is beautifully quiet! Garden area is not directly of door of the house, but gated drive is secure as you walk across, so still safe for the dog. Hottub garden is lovely, but dogs not allowed to stay in there, which makes it sli ghtly awkward if you just want to sit outside. Dog paddock was great. Dog also not allowed upstairs in cottage. Well equipped and wld recommend.
Karen
The cottage is lovely and well situated to explore Devon. We had a great stay and really enjoyed the hot tub and amazing view. There are a couple of things that are useful to know. We couldnt get a warm shower in the evening. We were a family of 5, most of us adults. There is a boost button that provides warm water but it only worked for us in the morning. Our dog was very welcome but not allowed upstairs or in the garden area with the comfy seats and hot tub.
Dean
Excellent hosts and cottage was beautiful. Great location away from hustle of London. Just great all round. Highly recommended
Samantha

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable, had all we needed and more. The cream tea was a nice treat - thank you and the recommendations for food in the folder was useful. We had 2 great meals out. Having the hot tub and the views was a real treat we all really enjoyed it. The extra field/garden for the dog was also a great idea as we had a practice of rounders in here due to the space. Would definitely recommend as we all came home relaxed and refreshed.

We were welcomed by Mike and Sally, who were excellent hosts throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Chocolate Easter eggs and hot cross buns greeted us when we arrived. Which was a lovely touch. The cottage is very well equipped with everything we needed including washing machine and dish washer tablets. We had exclusive use of the hot tub which had marvellous views over Exmoor. We would definitely book again and can't recommend this cottage highly enough.
Marina
We had the most relaxing stay at Dartmoor Cottage over Easter half-term, with the hot tub being an absolute highlight, we spent many happy hours there and felt really refreshed and full of energy at the end of our stay. The location is amazing, the views are magnificent, especially from the hot tub. House booklet was really useful, we found brillia nt recommendations about eating places, and if staying in, there is big Tesco within 10 minutes drive. Highly recommended!
Gordon
Nicely laid out cottage with covers available for doggy for the furniture, was very welcoming we arrived at 1900ish in the dark. Followed the 3 mile walk around the area which was pleasantly a good stroll for doggy as well. We ventured to Westwood Ho 2 times 35mins a lovely beach to walk and 1.45 to Plymouth. Shopping done in Barnstable where there s Asda or Tescos on outskirts. Was nice and quiet which gave us some peace away from the hussle of our daily lives.
