About Pig House, Boskensoe Barns

Detached from the other barns, the Pig House offers a hot tub, ultra-modern interiors, oak floors, modern art, good design in fittings and furniture and a complimentary welcome tray of award-winning, mouth-watering provincial produce on arrival. Discover three boutique standard bedrooms equipped with Smart TV's with internet television service and three indulgent bathrooms (including two en-suite).

The huge open plan living room, combining a kitchen, dining and sitting space, is the social hub. When it rains, there is music streaming with a built in iPad; coffee table books; mega screen Smart TV with internet television service, DVD's for adults and children and good old-fashioned board games.

The kitchen, with its central island, delivers every conceivable gadget and a chunky dining table for sociable mealtimes. Let the children roam free in the enclosed garden which is fenced, gated and offers a good degree of privacy while you sink into the giant hot tub for some boutique heaven or relax on the terrace with a glass of red at hand and fire up the barbecue.

Really love holiday home
Absolutely fantastic cottage in a stunning part of Cornwall. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful stay at The Pig House and other members of our family stayed just across the courtyard at The Stable. The Pig House had everything we needed and what we found particularly useful as part of a large group was that there wasnt just 6 of everything in the kitchen. All 9 of us from the Pig House and The Stable were able to eat and drink together without carrying plates and glasses between properties. The enclosed garden and dog exercise area were also very useful for our lively cocker spaniel! We had a wonderful time and will definitely recommend these properties to friends and family and will stay again next time we visit this area of Cornwall.

We had a fantastic time at the Pig House. Very comfortable with plenty of space for six adults and two dogs. The weather was mixed add it was by lovely to be able to come home to the hot tub on a mizzly day. On one occasion we had a problem with a shower and Mark sorry I think that was the name was straight across to fix it, despite being a Sunday evening. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property with everything you need, immaculately presented, comfy beds, top quality fixtures and fittings, superb garden area secure for the pooch fabulous hot tub, lovely garden furniture to sit at whilst you have your breakfast and your barbecue, fantastic secure area to exercise the dog, could not fault a thing, just lush!

Absolutely loved Pig House! Beautiful decor, lots of space, the ability to create great ambience with the dimmable lighting, surround sound and woodburner in the evening. Great location, in a small village away from everything but still only 10min away from Falmouth. The property was very clean, well maintained and the selection of local produce to welcome us was a sweet touch. Only bit of feedback would be to put in a coffeenespresso machine but thats about it

We had a wonderful stay at The Pig House. Such a beautiful property which made us feel at home as soon as we walked in! We were welcomed with beautiful fresh flowers and a package of milk, bread and some other local produce. Even our two dogs were catered for with a water bowl, mat and biscuits. The hot tub was amazing and the garden perfect for our dogs, as well as the enclosed play field. Absolutely fantastic stay we had, despite the weather, and the best place we have stayed in! Really want to go back but get in quick as it gets booked up fast!

Great stay, great place absolutely perfect set up cant fault! Everything is immaculate, everything thought of. Never known such comfortable beds in a holiday home! And bathrooms were top hotel standard! Would definitely visit again and whileheartedly recommend!

Utterly amazing. Such a lovely place to get away from everything and everyone was extremely friendly and the cottage was immaculate. I do always find it a little odd though, when spending so much money and with a full day with no access for cleaning and the place was beautifully clean, that your asked to strip your beds and bag up your towels. It's probably me as lots if cottages do it but it's not the nicest way to end such a lovely indulgent week.

Pig House was extremely well appointed and very comfortably furnished. It was particularly suited for a family holiday and we very much enjoyed our stay there. We would definitely like to return to Boskensoe Barns if family circumstances permitted.

On arrival Pig House had a real Wow! Factor and this continued with the high standard of cleanliness and quality of the fixtures and fittings. The Hot tub was cold on arrival but this was good as they had replaced the water on arrival ready for next day and was wonderful! The showers were lovely and hot, and for tall people excellent! The surrounding area is beautiful and the barn is easily accessed just off a main road. Icing on the cake we have already booked for next year, i can imagine this place being very popular to our disadvantage!

This is our second stay at The Pig House and definitely wont be our last, in fact we are already booked in in September! The Pig House has been beautifully renovated and caters for all your needs, everything has been carefully thought about. The beds are so comfy, the showers are great, the kitchen is fully stocked, the TV choices and the music system is fab and the hot tub is the icing on the cake! The Cornish treats that great you on arrival are a really nice touch and you have everything you need to help you get though the first few days of your holiday milk, tea, coffee etc. There is lots to explore in the local area and we cant wait to return in September. Thanks again for a truly relaxing holiday.

The Pig House is a lovely barn conversion set in great grounds. The garden is a lovely addition, secluded and safe for toddlers and dogs. The house itself is high spec, everything provided that you could need, had a great time, very relaxing and a lovely place to come back to after a busy day out, a real home from home
Absolutely stunning accommodation and location. Had a fantastic week here with family and it couldn't have been better. The house had everything we needed and more, plus to an incredible standard. We will definitely be back for a 3rd visit to these amazing properties.

This is our second time at Boskensoe Barns. Last year we stayed in The Mill House, it was excellent. This year our party was a little smaller so we thought we would give The Pig House a try, that was excellent too. We have booked The Pig House again in 2022. Looking forward to it.
Beautiful barn conversion, spacious, clean, lovely secluded garden with hot tub. Everything you need in the kitchen. Bathrooms spot on too. Love the sound system. Perfect location too, short walk to the village , shop, coffee shop and pub, great walking area too.
I was impressed with the accommodation it was excellent and its location was perfect for visiting close proximity wonderfull gardens, pretty creeks,villages, and beaches plus bigger towns city for retail therapy. The host Bridget was helpful and friendly. I hope to book again in the future.
Return visit lovely modern accommodation ideal for multi generation occupation. Enclosed garden for safe play dog and children Easy access to major tourist spots but we stayed quite local this visit and discovered walkable coves for rock pooling and short ride to sandy beach. The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.
Flambards Experience Cornwall - TR13 0QA

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone.  Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
Paradise Park - TR27 4HY

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.    
Lost Gardens of Heligan - PL26 6EN

The amazing Lost Gardens of Heligan are one of Cornwall's most popular attractions and offers arrange of activities for adults and children. Besides the beauty and unique atmosphere of the gardens there are also organised events to enjoy throughout the year including a Harvest Display, Wild Food Walks, Halloween and Christmas celebrations and Book Signings.
Dairyland Farm World - TR8 5AA
about 18 Miles
Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
Newquay Zoo - TR7 2NN

The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall.  With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal.  Recent additions to the zoo include the African Savanna and the Madagascan Walkthrough exhibit.  Kids will love the play area, face painting, tarzan trail and animal encounters.  Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.
Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre - PL15 8EU
about 21 Miles
Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre offers a day full of action and adventure for all the family come rain or shine. If the weather is good then children can take advantage of the vast open space to run around and play, enjoy pony rides, train rides, trampolines and Go-Karts and explore the nature trails. If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.
The Eden Project - PL24 2SG

The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples.  From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction.  All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe.  Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit.  Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).
Land's End - TR19 7AA

Land's End is one of Britain's best loved landmarks with its unique location offering breathtaking scenery and great natural splendour. The site has been developed to offer five family friendly attractions including an exhibition centre currently showing a fantastic Dr Who exhibition - a must for fans of the show. Other attractions include Scull Rock - A 4D film experience and Greeb Farm - A small animal farm which is sure to be a big hit with younger children.
