Enjoying impressive sea views from most of its rooms and a private hot tub to melt your worries away, this reverse-level holiday home is ideal for a family escape to the Cornish coast.

Leave your vehicle in an off-road parking space outside the front door, before stepping inside to the first floor to discover the open-plan living space, bathed in natural light with its sliding doors and scenic 180-degree sea views over the beautiful sandy bay. Unwind on the sofa with a cup of tea in hand as you savour the sights or flick through the TV for a Sky movie, where you can snuggle together with a bucket of popcorn.

Conjure up mouth-watering dishes in the contemporary kitchen, hosting an oven, grill and gas hob and when meals are piping hot gather around the dining table to toast your getaway. French doors lead out to the balcony from the kitchen, alternatively, you can watch the sunset over the horizon on the terrace and when the sky grows dark take a dip in the hot tub for a spot of stargazing.

As the evening draws to an end, choose between two beautifully presented bedrooms, a king-size with a private Juliet balcony to make the most of the sea views and a twin bedroom, which is perfect for younger guests. Awaken with a hot shower or relax your muscles in the bathroom with an indulgent soak before exploring the gems of Cornwall.

A short walk will lead you to the golden sands of Carbis Bay, an award-winning beach, where you can swim or surf the clear waters and afterwards enjoy a scenic stroll along the South West Coast Path. Visit the jewel of Cornwall, St Ives, dotted with traditional cottages and lined with cobbled streets hosting boutiques, independent cafes and restaurants, as well as the Tate Art Gallery for fascinating exhibitions.
