Kensa Reviews

The property was lovely and also clean throughout. Jacuzzi was perfect and nice to have. Good location for venturing out and about. Only one gripe and that was the ground source heating facilities. We went in January during the extremely wet period so always returned home soaked, there was no means of drying clothes or shoestrainers or swimwear after using the Jacuzzi etc.

This is a lovely property very clean and well maintained, loved how homely it felt. The bed was so comfy slept really well, there was everything there that you could possibly need. My only criticism would be the electric hob, it was a nightmare took ages to come on so not sure if it is faulty, only other was the TV we couldn't get the normal TV with BBC ITV etc so not sure if it was us or if it wasnt available. These are the two things that would deter me from staying again, other than that it was lovely
Vanessa
Kensa was ideally located for exploring the sights of Cornwall. Quiet location and very private. Had everything you could possibly need or want. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Very well thought out. Bed extremely comfy. A special welcome basket of scones and jam and cream, wine and milk, which were delicious. The hot tub was just perfect after a long day exploring to relax in. Seating areas front and back were lovely to sit out with a cuppa in the sunshine. It was well equiped with all kitchen utensils, like a home from home. Thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay
When arrived we could not find the patio door keys once found everything was easier. My husband and I are a couple of dinosaurs when it comes to technology so when on description it said smart tv we thought we would get freeview theres no aerial the only thing you can get is on apps Netflix etc. if you bring you own logins etc whatever they are. Also it would be handy if instructions booklets on how to work kitchen appliances ie microwave and induction hob. The Kensa was beautiful clean and is very central to all areas the bungalow Is on a corner plot and you have to be very careful when driving in and out. The paintings around the bungalow where very informative. If you are thinking of going to St Ives I would leave very early as parking there is terrible its also very hilly if you have any mobility problems. All In all we had a good stay in Cornwall but wont be returning as its long drive from Wales.
Outstanding Holiday Cottage which is very clean and beautifully decorated with informative pictures around the property to various must see locations and has everything you would need to make your stay perfect. The Cottages location in Carharrack is ideal as it's only short drives to all Cornwalls tourist and hidden gems on the north and south coast also there are major supermarkets and retail outlets very close just incase you've forgotten to bring something or need to stock up.
We had a fantastic week spent in Kensa! It really is a gem! The property has everything you could want and more! From super comfy beds to everything you need in the kitchen to cook with, the owners have thought of everything. The hot tub was a win too! Fantastic base to explore Cornwall from!
