We had a lovely stay at Sycamore Lodge. Zoe’s local tips and friendly attitude made all the difference. It’s a bit of a drive to the coast, around 40 minutes, but the peaceful setting was perfect for relaxing. Definitely a quiet escape we enjoyed!
Emma
Honestly, we think we stumbled on one of the nicest challets around. The view from the veranda was stunning-over fields and trees, perfect for relaxing. Our dog loved watching all the passers-by and other dogs. Inside, everything was spotless and comfy, with the beds being super cosy and the windows letting in plenty of light and air. Since it was just the two of us, we each had our own bathroom-mine with a bath, which was a real treat. The kitchen was fully equipped and had a massive fridge freezer. Plenty of space to unwind, we’ll definitely be coming back!
Emma

Honestly, Wendy really stood out during our visit. She went way beyond her duties to help us out, especially when I had to go into hospital-she was incredibly caring and supportive. The hot tub looked fantastic, but sadly I couldn’t enjoy it because of my hospital visit. The two guys working on-site were also super friendly and kind, which made things a lot easier. We can’t thank Wendy enough for her kindness; she truly is worth her weight in gold. Overall, a great experience thanks to her and the team. We really hope she gets recognised for her dedication!
Sarah

The kitchen was stocked with scones, jam, clotted cream, milkand bread - perfect for us and the kids. The lodge is in a stunning location, modern, spotlessand really spacious. The hosts were super helpful whenever we had questions. Definitely recommend for a relaxing family getaway!

The arrival touches like scones, breadand milk were a nice surprise. Everything ran smoothlyand the Wi-Fi was decent too. The hilly surroundings made for some great walks. We’d definitely recommend it to family and friends and plan to return next year!
