Had a wonderful week at Sycamore Lodge, Zoe was a great help with her knowledge of the locality and friendly support. Everywhere is at least a 20 minute car trip and 40 minutes to the coast but stunning situation for a quiet relaxing break .
katie
3rd time at the lodge and still amazing, cant wait to book our next trip.
Wendy
I think we got the best challet on the site. The view from the veranda was wonderful, over fields and trees, and our dog had a commanding view of all passers-by and their dogs. Inside was tidy and clean, the beds comfortable with obscured windows for light and air. As there were only two of us, we had a bathroom each, mine had a bath, which I was v ery pleased with. The kitchen was well-stocked and had a huge fridge freezer. Lots of room to relax in.

Main point of contact Wendy is definately someone to keep she went above and beyond her job description during our stay she is worth her weight in gold and we hope she is appreciated by everyone who has the privilege to work with her. As i had to go into hospital during my stay i was unable to use the hot tub which looked to be one of the best we h ave seen . We couldnt praise Wendy enough for all the help and kindness during our stay also the 2 men working on site were very kind to us

Coming to this lodge was a bit of a last minute decision, but it was the best I couldve made. We arrived late on a Friday and the lodge was warm, the fireplace was on, creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere, and in the kitchen weve found scones, jam, clotted cream, milk and bread! Amazing, especially since we were travelling with 2 young children. Lodge is set in beautiful area, modern, clean and spacious, stocked up with everything youd need and hosts are available for any questions.
Ross
We had a great time at this lodge. It was clean, cosy and spacious. Hot tub was hot on arrival so didnt need to wait for it to heat up. The scones, bread and milk was a great touch on arrival. Everything worked as it should and they wifi signal was good. Very hilly but lovely walking. Would not hesitate to recommend to family/friends and will look to come back ourselves next year.
Kerry-Anne
The pictures of the lodge looked amazing any way, however we were really impressed with how spacious the lodge was and all of the amenities provided. The weather wasnt great when we went but that didnt bother us for the fact we were able to cook and relax in somewhere so clean and comfortable and homely. The hot tub was a welcomed addition and it w as well looked after by the staff yet we didnt see them at all. The lodge is wonderful and have already recommended it to family.
Jo
We had a very relaxing and much needed break. It's rare you find the total peace and quiet you crave but this lodge provided just that along with the added bonus of being able to take our four legged friend with us! Immaculate site with a beautiful hot tub to top things off at the end of the day. North Devon beaches easily accessible for wonderful long walks.
