Having stayed at 4x 4* cottages with hot tubs in the last 2 years in this local area, this is by far the best. Very clean, hot tub perfect after long days. Great location, really nice to have a welcome basket, excellent facilities. Lots of walks for couples with a 4 legged friend, recommend Saunton, Woolacombe and Lynton and Lynmouth. Great fish anRead mored chips at Squires in Braunton. We look forward to a return visit next year. Hide

We had a very relaxing week at the Piggery, which was lovely, well designed, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The owners were very welcoming and showed us where to walk our dog. After days out at the lovely North Devon beaches and forest walks it was great to go back and relax in the hot tub, while enjoying the countryside views. Read moreWe highly recommend. Hide

The house was very pretty as we approached and as we open the door it smelt so clean. The bed was massive and comfy. I would recommend the piggery as a very relaxing retreat.
Sarah
We thoroughly enjoyed our week's holiday at the piggery. Throughout our stay, the owner Ian was very friendly whenever I bumped into him while out walking the dog on the farm. He came to show us the workings of the hot tub and told us where we could walk the dog on the farm at the begining of our stay, then left us to it. Obviously we could contact him if we needed to. The cottage was very clean upon arrival and there was plenty of storage space for all of our things. We will definitely return.
Chloe
The cottage was lovely, in a peaceful and quiet area, however the area does not have much around it, so i would suggest shopping for food before you arrive as the closest supermarket (besides one small spar about 10 mins away) is about half an hour away. The owner is lovely and showed us around where we could walk the dog. which theres lot of space where he could run around and chase a ball etc. Hot tub was so nice and relaxing and very private. overall a really nice, relaxing get away
Bev
Fantastic property and location.........so good this was the 3rd year we have stayed for a fortnight. Hits all the buttons - lovely accommodation, good location as whilst in the countryside only a few minutes from the well stocked village community shop and around 35 minutes from all the lovely beaches on the North Devon coastline. Large patio give s options to sit in the sun or under cover and the hot tub is a lovely way to relax.
Fiona

The hot tub was wonderful and had a lovely view.
Marie
A very comfortable property, well equipped and stylish. It's in a great location, quiet and rural but within very easy reach of several towns and beautiful beaches. If you don't want to drive there are a number of walks directly from the property. Dog friendly and very welcoming owners. The hot tub is perfect after a day exploring the local area.
David
WOW!! A lovely piece of heaven in Devon! based on a farm with fields all around made a great location for my wife and I with our Rottie. Greeted by the super friendly owner on arrival, gave us guided tour and all info we needed. Upon entering was warm, cosy and very clean, spotless! A lovely welcome pack which was a great touch! Very spacious accom modation, Overall, we just wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights, very relaxing. Would not hesitate to rebook in the future.

We had an amazing time at the Piggery, it is a lovely place! We got given a hamper with delicious eggs and biscuits! Our Labrador loved exploring all of the fields, especially the meadow! We all felt very chilled and at home in the Piggery. We hope to come again for much longer next time :)

Beautiful location. Gorgeous property. Lovely views. Immaculate and clean property. Hosts were lovely. Welcome basket was great(delicious apple juice) Hot tub was so relaxing. TVs, nice and big. Bed was comfy. Good WiFi. Nice sized secured patio area for dogs. Great fields for walking dogs.
Dawn
A beautiful holiday home, super clean & very homely with everything you need.We had a wonderful week & would 100% rebook. The home is spacious, modern but cosy with the underfloor heating & log burner. The hot tub is huge & the outdoor patio is fantastic. If you have dogs there isnt really anywhere to walk them after dark apart from the farm lane w hich is pitch black, this is the only issue we had. Would recommend anyone considering to simply book it! I didnt want to come home!
Calum
Fantastic set up and really enjoyed our stay
Barry
Well prepared & very relaxing cottage. Owners very welcoming & gave us time to explain workings of hot tub. Enjoyable break
Bev
Our 2nd visit and delighted to find the same high standard of accommodation and equipment as last year. The location is ideal as whilst you can enjoy the views and tranquillity of being in the countryside there is a local community shop a couple of miles away and most beaches and places of interest are within a half hour drive of the property. Havi ng access to fields and woodland walks on the farm is ideal for dog owners. We loved it so much we have booked to return for a 3rd time next year!
Ellie
We had a lovely stay at The Piggery, extremely clean, perfect location for dog walks, the owners were extremely friendly! I felt we had lack of privacy, due to a barn opposite being taken down, so workers over looking us all day. Obviously bad timing. Also the position the dog bin is, we had other residents over looking us daily, which was not idea l! However, Overall, the property is great, would highly recommend.
Lisa
Absolutely stunning accommodation and very spacious for two people would highly recommend for a romantic getaway for couples.
Andrea
Third time we have visited The Piggery and we love it. Its just so welcoming and cosy. A great place for a peaceful chilled holiday. Make sure you have a good satnav as it really is in the heart of the countryside. Google Maps will take you down some interesting routes . We havent found a fault yet. Highly recommended
Samantha
We had such a fabulous stay. The cottage is amazing and Ian and Annie have thought of everything! We will definitely be back
Anette
property is immaculate, very comfortable. Owners friendly and helpful, plenty of lovey countryside for walks. The cottage is in a very remote location which is lovely in itself but if you wants to go for a meal or a drink the nearest place is 8 miles away as the village pubs are closed. Would we go back, yes
Roger
Lovely location accomodation very smart. Nice secure patio with wonderful hot tub to ralax in after our days out. Comfortable bed, shower room was fabulous. Always hot water and heating warm as toast. Very dog friendly with fields to use at any time.
Geraldine
Thoroughly enjoyed this barn conversion, had everything that you need. The property was so spacious inside and so comfortable. The hot tub was a bonus to come back to in the evenings. Plenty of room for our dog and the added bonus of using the owners fields and orchard to take him for a run (border collie who needs Plenty of exercise). The owners I an and Annie are so friendly and will have a nice chat to you if they see you, other than that they will not disturb you. Will definitely return.
Glenn
The Piggery is a beautifully converted building with quality furnishings and was immaculately clean. Of particular note is the bed that was incredibly comfortable. A nice welcome from Ian on arrival and then we were left completely alone. Everything we wanted on a weekend away.
Sheila
Beautiful clean cottage in lovely location! Hot tub was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Gemma
