Second time staying at this cottage and again it was perfect. The log burner had been lit when we arrived and it was just so cosy, warm and inviting. Jon, the owner, popped in to make sure everything was OK and he was very welcoming. It was lovely to go back to the cottage after a day out and sit in the hot tub before settling down in the living ro om to play games. This little slice of heaven is perfect for people who want to escape the everyday life and recharge their batteries. It's location is tucked away in a little village, but has everything you need to enjoy some reflection, reconnecting with a loved one or simply taking rest in the hot tub, oval bath, rainfall shower, lean to extension or by the firep lace. It's not without tech either, with a super large tv in both living room and bedroom, but also a mirror tv over the bath! We love this place!xxx

Ruth
The cottage was superb, the amenities were exceptional quality and lovely finishing touches including the fresh flowers and delicious lemon drizzle cake. Remote location in a peaceful little village with pub and community shop. Good location for visiting coastal towns and villages in North Devon.
Frances
A very nice and quiet place. 5 star comfort and everything so nice. We met the owner Jon and was made to feel at home. Lovely to stay where our dog was welcomed and he even got treats to.
Kimberley
A really stunning cottage set in a cosy village. Location is not the best if you dont want to drive far, but it is fairly central so you can visit the north or south coast in a relatively short time. You are allowed to take dogs, but be aware that the stairs and garden have some hazards for four legged friends! The host family are very friendly and we were left milk and cake on arrival which was lovely. We will be recommending to friends and hope to visit again.
Jeremy
Excellent cottage, with everything you could want, very good facilities, nice homely touches, would recommend to anyone
Eleanor
Cottage is gorgeous, everything has been thought of for a lovely relaxed stay. It is quite isolated from lots of things to do, but the village is lovely, and everything is an easy drive away. Bed was super comfy. Hottub was great to relax in at the end of the day. 100% would recommend.
Graeme
Beautiful dog-friendly cottage in heart of North Devon, owner Jon was very friendly and welcoming. Prime location with Barnstaple and numerous beaches are an easy 25-30 minute drive away.
Darryl
Jon (the owner), made us so welcome right from our arrival. Not only that, he went far above and beyond on more than one occasion for us, which he didnt have to, do but clearly took pride and pleasure in doing so and ensuring we were happy. The cottage is beautiful and you honestly cant fault a thing, it has everything from comfort right through to amenities on a high level. We will be back as soon as we can and cant wait.
Rebecca
The cottage is lovely with everything you could need for your stay. It's super clean and beautifully designed in a good location. John was very helpful and communicative. The little touches of the flowers, cake and dog treats were very welcome. It's also nice to stay somewhere that allows dogs that doesn't then have a Bible of rules to follow that makes you feel on edge! Would definitely recommend and will be back when we can. Thanks for s lovely week.
Nicola
Everything was perfect, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean, with a pretty enclosed garden for the dog. Great to have the hot tub and soft robes to put on afterwards. Flowers, cake, beverages and milk left for us, by the thoughtful owners. Also plenty of wood, etc, if you want to use the wood burner. We wouldnt hesitate to recommended Honeysu ckle Cottage, its an absolute gem and we loved our stay!
Laura
Beautiful cottage. Been renovated to a very high standard. Everything you need. Great communication from owner. Sun room and hot tub was just a added bonus for a relaxing holiday. Would highly recommended.
