Really enjoyed our stay here! The place had all we needed, especially the EV charger which worked perfectly. Our dog was so happy too. If we weren’t relocating, we’d definitely come back. Nice spot, highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

The cottage is really lovely, with stunning views and a perfect spot near both the coast and the countryside. It comfortably fits six of us and is super well-equipped. The host checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, which was great!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. The layout is really well thought out, making it feel spacious yet homely. The owners stopped by on our first day to check everything was okay, which was a nice little gesture. It's set on a farm, but there’s plenty of secure space around the cottage for our dogs and kids-perfect for peace of mind. We loved walking across the fields and exploring the public footpaths that cross the farm. Our dogs had a blast every dayand we’d definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at The Stables. It's super cosy and perfect for families with kids and grandparents. There’s tons of space and everything’s really well thought out - we found all the essentials easily. The toys, especially the big dominoes, kept the kids entertained for ages, even turning them into car tracks! The location is a bit of a trek, but the peace and quiet more than make up for it. Thanks for the welcome pack, it was a nice touch. A hot tub would be the cherry on top!
David

What a lovely cottage! It was clean and spacious, perfect for us. There were nice walks everywhereand it was such a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Our dog really enjoyed seeing the cows in the field across the way every morning too. We definitely recommend it!
Mark
We stayed in a beautifully converted farm building set in a lovely, quiet spot. There are plenty of rights of way nearbyand we could also explore the fields of the owner's family farm. It’s incredibly dog friendly, with special flooring from Floors for Paws. We booked last minute after our original cottage was cancelled just 24 hours before. Paul, the owner of The Stables, was super quick to respond, gave us a discountand sent over all the details about the cottage and the area right after we booked.
Sarah
We found the accommodation super spacious and the woodburner added a lovely cosy touch. It's just right for small family groups with dogs. The courtyard off the bedroom was a nice bonus too. There's a fenced grass area out front, which the kids loved using the firepit in. We enjoyed the many public footpaths to explore and Rigsby Woods was lovely. For shopping, there's a co-op in Alford. We weren't quite sure what to pack, but they provided tea towels, hand soapand washing up liquid, plus some foil, clingfilm, a delicious plum cakeand milk on arrival (just no tea or coffee).!
Emily
Absolutely beautiful and spotless place set in a stunning landscape! It felt warm and really like a home-from-home. Can’t wait to book again!
Jamie

Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 9 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 11 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 20 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 20 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
