There are lots of places to stay in Cheshire, but only one where you can sleep under the stars in your very own forest cabin – bordered by clusters of evergreen trees in a spot where the Sandstone Ridge runs right through the forest. Take in idyllic views of rolling fields, wander through lush English countryside or stroll around pretty nearby towns where fine dining options and independent boutiques await.

Delamere Forest is also a short drive away from some of the best attractions in the UK. Go wild at Chester Zoo or see nature close-up on a Birds of prey experience; jump on the water to kayak the local rivers or get competitive with archery, Crazy Golf and Go Ape’s Treetop Challenge.

In the forest, book a range of Forest Ranger activities that will help you connect with nature and the forest around you – from Nature Tots for under-5s, to Wildlife Wonders and Survival Skills, for any age. When you book a Forest Holiday you're supporting nature too – they're stewards of 244.5 hectares of forest, managing the land for conservation and creating spaces in nature for people to stay.
