Little Hoots Roost Reviews

Emma
Really enjoyed the stay, super cosy and very relaxing.
Emma Clarke
We had a lovely week staying at Little Hoots with our two dogs. The location is pretty handy, just a short drive to Stapleford Woods, which was perfect for daily walks. Nick, the owner, also recommended a nearby dog walk just past The Plough pub’s car park - a lovely public footpath leading to a big open field. It’s ideal when you don’t fancy driving far. We also enjoyed a day at Burnt Stump country park, which has excellent trails and a cosy pub nearby. All in all, a cracking little spot for dog lovers and nature walks!
Emma

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, really nice spot. It’s clean, cosyand perfect for a couple or a small family. Seating was a bit tight for four adults, especially with the bench at the table, but since it was just us, it wasn’t an issue. We’d definitely come back again, no problem!

The garden overlooks a field with horses, which felt very private and peaceful. The hot tub was a real treat. The owner’s tips for local pubs were spot on, both within walking distance and really good. It’s close to lots of attractions and some lovely dog walks too - perfect for a relaxing break!

We had a lovely stay here! The owner was really friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. The welcome pack was a nice touch. Both bedrooms with ensuites were perfect, especially for my daughter. We enjoyed the local pubs, many of which offered takeaways we ended up ordering most nights. The weather was great for a barbecue on a sunny day. Waking up to sheep and horses nearby was just wonderful. Overall, a fantastic holiday, definitely recommend it!
