Home Farm Cottage Reviews

We had a lovely family get together. The property was ideal. Lots of secure parking for cars.Claire and David we perfect hosts, and on hand if we needed them.the house was warm and spotlessly clean.it was perfect for our needs. We are hoping to return for another family reunion next year.
The cottage was amazing & exceeded our expectations. So clean, comfortable & well equipped & perfect for a large family gathering. We really appreciated the welcome hamper & Claire & David were great hosts & have thought of everything to make Home Farm Cottage the best property we have stayed in. We had places we could all be together & space to spread out, loved the hot tub & the games room too. Would highly recommend this property
The cottage is very big and well suited to large families. It's very well equipped including plenty for children including a hot tub, games, books and a games room. It was super clean and tidy. The owners are very helpful and always on hand to answer questions. We had a wonderful 3 night stay.

I can highly recommend Homefarm Cottage. The house and surroundings were stunning and it was private and peaceful. We met the owners who greeted us and they were very welcoming and friendly. Our family holiday was a happy and wonderful experience . I can highly recommend.

We were a group of 12, age range 1 to 92. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the house, it had everything we needed. The downstairs bedroom with the additional single bed was perfect for the family group. Our favourite place was the sun lounge the hub of the house. We all agreed the best thing was the hot tub which was lovely regardless of the weather. Thank you very much Claire and Dave for looking after us and providing a lovely hamper, the flowers looked beautiful too. We would recommend the local pub, The King's Head for a lovely meal. Daventry Country Park, Jephson Park in Royal Leamington Spa and Draycote Reservoir are all good places close by to suit both young and old.

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. The house, patio and garden were beautifully kept and all the amenities provided were excellent. We ranged in age from 2 92 and everyone was catered for. Our hosts were very helpful and went out of their way to keep in touch. The hamper provided was really thoughtful. The only point I can add is that the shower in the downstairs bathroom was not disability friendly it does not claim to be and we managed perfectly well. Highly recommend this property
A fantastic stay, thank you for having us!
We had a lovely relaxing weekend with family and friends at this fantastic property. Its very well maintained and so spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped both inside and out. Great communication with the owners too. Brilliant place!

Everything was just wonderful! The house is stunning and our hosts, Claire and Dave, were thoughtful and friendly and so helpful and kind! We were a large party with elderly, kids and parents and everyone was catered for. The hot tub and games room were such a treat and the location is brilliant. We had some lovely walks by the canals and delicious pub food. I would love to go back. Thank you so much!

Old Dairy Farm Centre - PO30 2NB
about 12 Miles
Suited to families with children of all ages this is a fantastic attraction in Northamptonshire.  There are many special events held throughout the year so don't forget to check what's happening while you are staying in the region.  Some highlights include the lambing weekends and the monthly local food fayres.
Old Dairy Farm Country Shopping and Craft Centre - LE14 3PF
about 12 Miles
From shopping to home cooked refreshments this is a wonderful day out in the pretty village of Upper Stowe.  You can enjoy amazing views over the Northamptonshire countryside and wander around the complex of stone built farm buildings.  Each building houses something different such as the Occasions Florist, Itsy Bitsy Gifts, Hayrack Gallery and Sheer Delights Lingerie.  When it's time for a rest the Barn Restaurant and Tea Room is the place to go.  There is a small selection of animals at the centre too which younger children will love.  They currently have two Kune Kune pigs, sheep, hens and ducks.  If you are looking for upmarket holiday accommodation in the Northamptonshire area then the luxury lodges at Wicksteed Park are sure to impress.
Catanger Llama Trekking - NN12 8LJ
about 13 Miles
This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
Ash End House Childrens Farm -
about 27 Miles
With family fun for everyone a trip to this farm makes a memorable day out in Staffordshire.  Some highlights of the day might include the chicks and ducklings in a basket, goat kid walking, bottle feeding the lambs or bunny brushing.  Located in the Tamworth area of Stafforshire this attraction is easy to get to.  Look out for special events taking place throughout the year including weekend and school holidays when extra activities may be organised.  Don't forget to meet Chirpy while you are there - the extra large chick!
