Sunnyridge Reviews

Steve
Sunnyridge is a stunning holiday cottage - so good that we've already booked it for the time next yearI The views from the cottage are beautiful. The location is great, very peaceful but only 5 minutes' drive from busy Easingwold. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for 6 people. The kitchen is "the best we've ever usedRead more" according to our daughter. The wet room is a huge bonus for anyone with reduced mobility. Everything is very well maintained to a high standard. We had a very relaxing holiday at Sunnyridge, which was spacious, well equipped , clean and in a great location with wonderful views and vast lawn. The quietness allowed us to hear the breeze and chirping birds. Norman was very helpful especially in preparing the hot tub. We hope to be back soon!

Fantastic house, wonderful setting with plenty of outdoor space, and lots of lovely towns and villages to visit nearby, as well as the coast being just an hour away. Really helpful host, Norman, who couldnt have been more helpful.

A lovely furnished well appointed bungalow in an idyllic location. The setting was just perfect, the views from the lounge and sun room add to the tranquillity of your holiday. Everything we needed was provided, lovely, clean and spacious. Norman was super helpful on our day of arrival, we left the South after work at 6.30pm ish and arrived at 11pm , despite the hour, Norman was there to meet us and we really appreciated that. Milk, butter, bread, juice waiting, lovely, thoughtful, gesture.

We had a lovely relaxing break. The cottage was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Norman and Hayley were very helpful and accomodating and we're very attentive to our particular needs. The location of the cottage was perfect and it was lovely to watch the birds, rabbits, pheasants etc from the living room. We were 5 minutes drive from easi ngwold - a lovely village with good shops, pubs etc and a market on Friday. York was within easy reach and a good day out. Would definitely go again

We would 100% recommend this property, fantastic base/location. York is a 20/25min drive and Thirsk 15/20min drive. The market square in Easingwold is superb. Can't fault the property, it ticked every box and we wouldn't hesitate in booking there again in the future. A modern and tastefully appointed property, with the added bonus of the hot tub an d magnificent views and countryside aplenty. 5 star property.
