This beautiful stone barn harmonises the charm of its historical roots with bold, contemporary styling, creating a welcoming, vibrant, and characterful ambience for a memorable stay. The downstairs open-plan living space has a clever design to maximise social spaces for family and friends to spend time together.

A wood burner takes centre stage with comfortable sofas; pop a log in the wood burner and watch a favourite film together in the evenings. The kitchen with a central island for chatting has everything you need to make meal preparation easy.

A king-size bedroom featuring a free-standing bath, access to the gardens, and an en-suite shower room completes the ground floor. Take the bespoke staircase to a spacious landing with a snug area.

There are two first-floor bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and a Juliette balcony - a king-size and a twin. Outside, an enclosed garden provides a secure setting, with outdoor furniture to relax and enjoy summer al fresco dining.

Outdoor adventures abound for all ages, with the Offa's Dyke and the Wye Valley Trail accessible within 8 miles. Cyclists can join the National Cycle trail in Chepstow (6 miles), and there are mountain biking trails at Cannop Cycle Centre (7 miles.) Puzzlewood (5.5 miles) is a must-visit for families, with plenty of woodland and raised walkways to explore.

We loved the peaceful setting and stunning views. The cottage was spotless and comfy with a lovely modern feel. The hot tub was a nice treat! Owners were really friendly and helpful; definitely planning to come back and tell friends.

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless and really cosy, with stunning views from the garden and hot tub. Six of us fit comfortablyand watching Trevor the grass cutter was oddly fascinating. The hosts were super friendly, making us feel right at home. Perfect location too, with two lovely pubs nearby. Honestly, couldn't have picked a better spot for a 60th birthday celebration!

Honestly, this place was just what we needed for a relaxing break. The decor was lovely and it felt super cosy. The beds were really comfyand we loved the peaceful surroundings. The hot tub was a real highlightand sitting outside with those gorgeous rural views was perfect. The owners were really friendly and sorted out a tiny issue quickly. We'd definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay! The cottage was super cosy and spotless, which made coming back after our adventures really nice. The view over the fields and lake was stunning, especially at sunset. We also loved relaxing in the hot tub and stargazing from the balcony. Perfect spot for exploring the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Will definitely return!

Puzzlewood - GL16 8QB

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.
Bristol Aquarium - BS1 5TT

The Blue Reef Aquarium and IMAX 3D Cinema is located in Bristol and makes a great fun family day out.  The newest attraction in the region it's an experience not to be missed.  More than 7000 animals are resident in naturally themed habitats and you can enjoy wandering around looking at the 40 displays. Highlights include the giant octopus and the cute seahorses. The IMAX 3D cinema system is fantastic - you will feel like you are swimming along with the animals.

This wonderful attraction in Gloucestershire will appeal to animal lovers as you will have the chance to see the fantastic work going on and meet the rescued horses, ponies and donkeys.  This place is funded entirely through public donations and they rely on these vital funds.  Kids will love the play barn and straw den where they can run off some energy.  New for 2010 is the Aerial Runway with Jungle Climber.
Lama Trekking at Old king Street Farm - NP16 6AA

At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland. Lamas are not ridden but they can carry all the picnic essentials including tables and chairs! Lama Treks around the stunning Black Mountains are also available.

Mendip Outdoor Pursuits is the perfect place for an action packed day of fun and is recommended for families with children aged 8 and over. The fantastic setting could hardly be better far activities such as Abseiling, Archery, Climbing, Caverning and Canoeing. The site also has a fantastic assault course. Family friendly activities include Raft Building and Nature Walks and environmental bush craft sessions.

The award wining Court Farm Country Park is the ideal all weather attraction with over 25000sq ft of playgrounds and attractions which are all undercover. Come rain or shine this place is perfect for families and children can really let of steam while adults have some time to relax. The site has several large and safe areas for fun and games, a stunning Adventure Castle with slides and ball pools and a range of small fairground rides. There are also educational shows to see including Milking Show and the twice daily Bottle Feeding Show.
