Gorgeous, modern cottage! It's been done to a very high standard. Really comfy beds with huge TVs in all rooms. Living space even better & bigger than the pictures suggest. Welcome hamper a really lovely & thoughtful touch, filled with great local produce. Local area was fab too, plenty of cafes/shops/pubs in next village Easingwold and the cottageRead more is only about 10 miles from York which is well worth a trip. The gardens were established 30 years ago and each has something different to offer. Expect to find dramatic displays of foliage and flowers as well as beautifully landscaped areas. Families will enjoy the woodland which leads to a wildlife pond and a beautiful wildflower meadow. This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families. The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family. The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower. For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel. Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too. If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.

Situated in Malton in North Yorkshire this has to be one of our favourite family days out. It's a theme park and zoo all in one stretching over a massive 400 acres. With thrilling rides for the very daring like Cliff Hanger, Corkscrew and Kumali, there are also more gentle rides for the little ones such as Frog Hopper and Helitoys. Family fun attractions include the 4D cinema, the lost river ride and the Little Monsters Den of Mischief. Check out their website for seasonal events which take place throughout the year and you can also gain more information about the zoo. Flamingo Land is a resort as well as a theme park so you can also book accommodation there.

Madhyamaka Meditation Centre - LL21 9NG
