The Cottage was very comfortable clean and spacious with all mod cons especially the shower rooms. We all enjoyed our stay at Fell Briggs as it is an ideal position for visiting the North Yorkshire Coastline plenty of Sea ,Sand and Fresh Air.
We had a lovely time at Fell Briggs cottage. It was clean, spacious there were 6 of us in total and a good base for exploring the area. Would highly recommend!
Lovely property with all facilities needed for a great stay, added extras were very welcome too. Great location with lots to do in surrounding area. Very communicative hosts. Thank you.
Catherine
Very clean, great facilities. Would highly reccomend.
An absolute gem, everything we had hoped for and more. The cottage felt fresh, clean, warm and homely as soon as we opened the door on arrival. The property is beautifully and tastefully presented with many little added extras which make such a difference. It is very spacious, with lots of storage space and a plentiful supply of crockery, pots, pans etc if you choose to eat in. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, as was seating in the living room. Nothing negative in any way and I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the area
Lovely cottage hot tub a big bonus. Lounge furniture not very comfy. It is listed as a 6 people cottage however it would not lend itself to 6 people very comfortably but for 4 people it's ideal.
Very relaxing and enjoyable holiday, everything you could possibly need provided
Richard
A lovely cottage situated close to many lovely coastal and country places to visit.
Elaine
A beautiful cottage with every home comfort required, beautifully furnished to a very high standard and super clean. We couldnt have wished for anything more.
Trevor
Nice spacious cottage with everything you could want. Clean, comfortable and tidy and the owners very helpful especially as the hot tub had broken down by before we arrived but that didn't spoil our enjoyment in any way.. Would recommend without hesitation. One drawback was the entrance to the drive, on a blind bend and the local boy racers tend to treat the road as a racetrack. Need to listen as well as look.
Melanie
This is a fantastic cottage , we had a lovely relaxing short break here and would highly recommend. Only slight problem was the seating in the lounge isn't overly comfortable for 4 adults to relax on for an evening! But plenty of cushions and throws are available to add a touch of luxury. Lovely clean hot tub set at just the right temperature, nothing to do but get in and enjoy. little gem of a cottage with lovely owners, and great views over countryside to the sea.
Time and effort by the owners resulted in first class accommodation. For both coast and countryside the location was ideal. Thank you and we look forward to returning
Louise
We stayed for 4 nights with our 4 year old and 18 months old. The cottage was beautifully finished and clean. Kitchen had everything you need didnt have to take half your kitchen with you. We were grateful for the nice extras including coffee, drinks in the fridge, picnic blanket and plates etc., lots of towels and extra loo roll. Great space for relaxing and cooking, and base to explore the local area. Hot tub was great size and right next to the back door so the kids monitors could reach wasnt clear from the post where the hot tub was.
This is one of the best places I have stayed at with Sykes. Great location, very well maintained property and a few little extras like a bottle of wine, fresh flowers and chocolate biscuits were kindly provided. The cottage is beautifully furbished throughout, very clean and great attention to detail is shown, to ensure the comfort and welfare of guests. Hope to stay there again soon!

WOW We have stayed at lots of great cottages through Sykes but Fell Briggs Cottage takes Gold medal position. We could not fault it at all, From pulling up on the very ample car spaces we were greeted by Fiona who was very friendly and helpful. The cottage is immaculate and the wonderful fragrancies from the air fresheners are the first thing that grab you. Everything has been thought of for your needs modern kitchen appliances instant hot water fantastic comfy bed and brilliant showers, Smart TVs in every room which is a added bonus, Hot tub which was used every day especially after the long walks plenty from the doorstep Follow the bridleways along the busy roads as it makes you safer and visit errington woods along the paths. Not much in the way of amenities in New Marske but Marske by the sea is lovely. Redcar was also a nice surprise and you are only 5mins away from Aldi for supplies. The views from the windows out across the sea and Redcar and the shipping have to be seen to be believed. We highly recommend Fell Briggs to everyone you will not be disappointed Thank you Fiona for the Prosecco and goodies and flowers. We will return
Michael

Fell briggs cottage is stunning the wow factor continued throught the cottage and into the courtyard. This place has been furnished with love and everything you could possibly need was there. The photos do not do the cottage justice the courtyard hosts the hottub and garden furniture including loungers. A picnic basket and beach blankets are available. The football table was well used . Marske beach was beautiful 100 we would return to this gem of a find definitely the best cottage we have stayed in .
So welcoming thank you and you wanted it to be perfect for us which it was Thank you for lovely stay! The white company lime and bay and coffee pods and washing line and hot tub and fresh flowers and table football and weather ! What a wonderful place Xx juliet maddie millie and Cecily xx
A beautiful cottage situated so near to lovely beaches and rolling countryside. The cottage was immaculate with a nice welcome pack and fresh flowers on the table. The cottage is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Tvs in every room and plenty of wardrobe space although a set of drawers in each bedroom even if inside the wardrobe would be helpful. The hot tub was lovely and used every night. The area around the hot tub would benefit from pavement slabs rather than gravel and maybe a few flower pots. Would definitely go back to this beautiful cottage.

The Grainary Wildlife Farm - YO25 3HS
about 26 Miles
Located in Harwood Dale Village, North Yorkshire we think this attraction makes a superb family day out and couples will also enjoy the nature walks in the area.  There are 6 nature walks in total surrounding the farm so walkers and lovers of the outdoors will be in their element. Some of our favourite walks include the Spring Flowers, Pond and Village walk which takes around 35 minutes, and the Meadow and Trees walk which takes one hour.
Flamingo Land - YO60 7EW
about 27 Miles
Situated in Malton in North Yorkshire this has to be one of our favourite family days out.  It's a theme park and zoo all in one stretching over a massive 400 acres. With thrilling rides for the very daring like Cliff Hanger, Corkscrew and Kumali, there are also more gentle rides for the little ones such as Frog Hopper and Helitoys.  Family fun attractions include the 4D cinema, the lost river ride and the Little Monsters Den of Mischief. Check out their website for seasonal events which take place throughout the year and you can also gain more information about the zoo.  Flamingo Land is a resort as well as a theme park so you can also book accommodation there.
Big Sheep - EX39 5AP
about 29 Miles
This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.
