Our stay at Duckings Rest was really lovely. The hosts at Peels Farm are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Don't miss out on their homemade bread and scones-they're absolutely divine. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely worth a visit!
James
Perfect spot for golfers and walkers, plus the coffee and farm shop nearby are a real bonus!
Martin
We loved the peaceful setting, perfect for unwinding. Watching the wildlife from the hot tub was a real highlight. The cottage was spotlessand the hosts were super helpful!
Emily
We had a lovely stay at the old bothy; the owners really pay attention to detail and it’s clear they put a lot of thought into it. The location is great, with plenty of nearby eateriesand even though it’s about 7 miles from the village, takeaways were easily delivered. The on-site cafe and shop are a real bonusand the staff were fantastic. We’d definitely come back again, it’s a gem!
Thomas
This cottage is first class and has all you need. The host Claire is brilliant, plus it’s really close to the farm shop and café. We will definitely be back - thanks for an excellent holiday!
Oliver
We would rate this higher than 10/10 if we could! The setting is absolutely idyllicand the accommodation is of a very high standard with everything we needed. There were lots of lovely little extras too, like milk in the fridge, biscuits, a sweet treat in the basket and even some local lime curd. The utility room with the washer and dryer came in really handy when the weather was poor. Plus, we enjoyed the hot tub so much; it was so relaxing looking out into the countryside. The coffee shop, gift shopand nature trail were all fantastic too, with great service!
Stacey
A great cottage in the middle of the Scottish countryside! Tranquil and quiet and furnished to a high quality and standard. Waking up to the view of some of the animals was great! They have a farm shop and cafe which we thought was reasonably priced on site also. We had a lovely relaxing week away from our normal lives and we would definitely recom mend this place!
Emily
We had a fantastic time! It was peaceful, tranquiland such a beautiful stay. The photos don’t really do justice to the high standard the property is done up to - just looking out the windows at the cows and hills was delightful. The hosts were super accommodating and brought over more towels right away when we asked. We can’t wait to come back!
Sarah
We just had a lovely long weekend here and can’t recommend it enough! The cottage exceeded our expectations in cleanliness and comfort. The owner was super helpful with check-in and we really enjoyed having the cafe on site. The coffee, cakes and scones were fantastic. We also appreciated the outdoor cabins where we could relax with our dogs when it wasn’t too warm. This is definitely one of the best self catering cottages we’ve ever stayed in. We’ll be back next year for sure.
Sophie
What a lovely cottage with outstanding views! The hot tub was just fabulous and we found it had everything we needed. The café and shop were really handy and lovely. Also, the takeaways were delicious and great value!
Tom
We stayed in this lovely clean, modern cottage that still retains its character! It was well equipped with everything we needed. Plus, the café and farm shop were a great bonus.
Emma

Gemma
What a fabulous cottage! It's spotlessly clean and has beautiful accommodation in a great location. We loved it!
Oliver
This barn conversion is fantastic! You really get everything you need for a holiday homeand the location is simply stunning.
Emma
We had a really nice time at this comfy property. There was plenty of spaceand it felt so cosy and warm. It's in a quiet area, which made it super relaxing. Perfect for lovely walks, with the Reekie Linn Falls and gorge just a short drive away. The hot tub was nice too; they've tried their best to make it private with some fencing, but it does block the view a bit. You can open the side panel for a better view, though. Just keep in mind it's quite open to folks passing by from the other cottage and pods. Plus, there's a nice cafe nearby!
Sarah
What a lovely spot! The cottage is really comfortable and so peaceful. Perfect for families with kids. Would definitely recommend it!
