Boasting spectacular mountains and lochside views from the lodge s deck area, throw open the patio doors and step into the property s open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area. From here you can cook up a hearty meal, sit and enjoy your food with the inspiring views ahead of you, and retire for an evening of entertainment on the TV.

The lodge offers two well proportioned bedrooms; a cosy twin room, and a double that has its own infrared sauna space adjacent to the sleeping area, so you can relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The family bathroom also features a spa style bath with a rain shower overhead an appealing place to retire to and soak aching muscles if you ve been active outside in the changeable elements.

Step outside onto the deck and sit back to take in the outstanding views through the treetops and across to Beinn Mhor; the tranquillity is sure to leave you feeling relaxed and restored. As well as offering a peaceful space to sit and enjoy the surroundings, this private space also offers a sunken hot tub, which is available to use at an additional charge.

Set into the hillside and surrounded by the dramatic landscape of Beinn Mhor, South Uist, which looms overhead and with views across to the serene waters of Loch Eck, this is the ideal retreat for those wishing to reconnect with the great outdoors for an ‘unplugged’ break. This bonnie wood cabin sleeps up to four guests and so is perfectly suited to couples travelling together or a small family, perhaps looking to get away from the hubbub of day-to-day life. Step across the deck, through patio doors and into the open-plan living space, which is cosy and inviting, housing a large sofa centred around the TV, and a well-equipped kitchen and dining space. Invite the outdoors in by throwing open the patio doors so you can make the most of the spectacular views. From here, you’ll find two bedrooms; a spacious double room with an infrared sauna space attached, and an attractive twin room. There is also a spacious bathroom with a spa-style bath; it offers the perfect space to relax and soak aching muscles after a day spent bagging Munros. Outside, the enclosed deck area provides plenty of seating, so you can sit back and breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the incredible views. There is also a sunken hot tub, which can be enjoyed at an additional cost.

After eating, you can hang out on the deck and take a dip in the private hot tub or make your way to the pretty vestibule at the front of the house to take a seat and soak up the wonderful sea views. With an enviable location right on the seafront overlooking West Bay, this vast property sleeps 18 people in its eight bedrooms. With large living areas as well as eight bathrooms, big group get-togethers will be a breeze at this house which will provide a memorable backdrop for a Scottish seaside holiday. Guests will undoubtedly end up enjoying time in the hot tub outside which overlooks the bay. With its mixture of period features plus all mod cons you should ever need, this property has plenty of wow factor from the moment you step inside the front door. From the hallway, you go through to the lounge which has sofas that are made for looking out at the sea views. The kitchen and dining room are open plan, keeping catering and mealtimes sociable. There’s everything you need in the kitchen to rustle up delicious meals during your stay and this room even benefits from doors to the patio at the back of the property. The first bedroom, with its en-suite wet room, is also on this floor and has a zip-and-link bed which can be either a twin or super-king-size. Upstairs, you come to another bedroom, which has its own en-suite too. This room, which is flooded with natural light, has a king-size bed. Also on this floor is a double with its own en-suite plus a useful utility room. Up on the second floor, there’s another spacious lounge with yet more comfortable seating to enjoy those sea views. Two bedrooms are on this floor as well: a double and a king-size that has both an additional single bed and an en-suite. Up another flight of stairs, you’ll find a shared bathroom, while up another flight, there is an office. This floor has two more bedrooms - both king-size with en-suites.
