Swan Bothy Reviews

Ellie
We stayed at this lovely cottage and loved the peaceful, secluded spot by the lake - waking up to swans and singing birds was just beautiful. The place itself is spacious enough for seven people and well equipped, which was great. The only real downside was it was a bit grubbyand the downstairs bathroom isn't ensuite, so not ideal for elderly or disabled visitors. I had to wash myself in the utility room, which was a bit of a surprise. Still, the stunning views made up for itand we’d definitely recommend a visit!
Oliver
We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It’s super cosy and the central heating kept us warm throughout. The place was spotless, with clean towels and bedding. The hot tub was brilliant, though it would be helpful if guests got some info about responsibility for checks. We loved relaxing outside, watching the swans and ravens-so peaceful! A guest book with restaurant tips and local sights would be a bonus. Overall, a lovely escapeand we’d definitely come back!
Emma

The cottage is lovely and peaceful, especially early mornings and evenings. It could do with a bit more attention to tidiness and details, though. During weekdays, it's a bit noisy due to the gardener’s shed nearby. The owners are friendly, but privacy isn’t guaranteed all the time.
Emma
