The cottage (pod) was fantastic, very well equipped in the most amazing setting looking out to sea. Whilst at Castlecraig, we were privileged to see the Dolphins a magical experience.
Neil
An absolutely splendid 'cottage' and hot tub. Everything was as described or even better. The central heating was freely useable and changes to both temp and timings were easily made. The site was extremely quiet and one wouldn't guess we were on a working farm. There was ample parking, bed linen and deck furniture and if your are in the mood a sma ll fire pit/ BBQ. The bed was more comfortable than ours at home! A big thanks to Les our host, she was so kind and friendly, nothing too much trouble
Iain

This accommodation was amazing. We arrived after a long trip and were delighted by everything. The Welcome Pack was lovely and the supplies really useful and, although just there to tide us over, lasted our stay. The view from the hot tub was breathtaking and the gun turrets left from the wars was fascinating - well worth a walk around. The surroun ding area is gorgeous. The only baaaad thing was trying to pass escaped sheep on the way out. I've discovered I am not a shepherd. lol
Jo
Oh my goodness, where to start. It was just amazing, the pod, the views, the hospitality of the owner, it was all just more than I could have hoped for, for a Birthday week away. We saw 4 dolphins on our first and last morning between 7:30-9am from the pod, the hot tub was lovely and warm for our arrival, all 4 pods are nicely spaced and feel priva te, the walk from the pod to the ww2 emplacements was also lovely and there are 2 fields of deer a mile or so away. Just fantastic is all i can say!
Kevin
Stunning view and scenery. The hosts are really welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to see that you have everything you need. We had a great holiday here.
Neal
I cannot recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a relaxing time, with an outstanding view of the North Sea, then you can't go wrong here. Sitting in the hot tub in the evening, looking at the stars and unwinding. Close to Tain town to grab supplies and less than an hour away from Inverness if you need something a bit more lively.
Joshua
Super location, Super views. Amazing New Year break.
Kirsty
We had a fantastic week for my husbands 50th birthday there is lots of places to visit or you can just relax and take in the beautiful scenery. These are Beautiful cabins and lots off things provided like tea coffee and lots more. We even managed to arrange balloons and banners for when we got there witch was a lovely spruce. I would definitely go back.
Chris
Fabulous location, superb accommodation, excellent facilities and fantastic views. Plenty of local beaches and forest walks, with stunning lighthouses and nearby distilleries to visit. After a relaxing day out and about is there a better way to spend the evening than in a hot-tub overlooking the moonlit Moray Firth. Great hosts who are available if you need them but are not intrusive. What more could you ask for?
Rachel
Castlecraig is such a special place to stay at, on the cliff edge, overlooking the firth with incredible views & amazing sunrises. The location is great with lots of amenities 20 mins away. Our cabin was not overlooked by anyone & the interior was really well done, with everything we needed, plus lots of lovely touches. The hot tub is excellent, ju st what was needed after a days walking. Cherry on top is the dolphins that you can spot from the cliff edge at certain times of day.
Rhobbie
This was a wonderful accommodation with outstanding views. The staff were great there in a moment if something was needed. Great location for our little minimoon with our little puppy. Only downside was we never saw any dolphins so will need to come back. 10 out of 10 recommend to a friend
JOANNE

An absolutely stunning location! The pod was spacious, light and luxurious. Having a hot tub in the deck overlooking the Moray Firth was the icing in the cake. We would highly recommend Castlecraig Clifftops to anyone wishing to have a quiet getaway break. A good base for exploring this part of Scotland.
John

Catherine
The cabin was amazing, compact and bijou. Perfect for a couple. Views are stunning of the North Sea coast. Lovely farm to explore. Will definitely return.
Vanessa
We had the most fantastic holiday here in such a beautiful location, watching the dolphins every day from our balcony. The hot tub was such a treat, being ready to use every day. Les was an amazing host, nothing was too much trouble. We visited all the recommended destinations in the welcome letter and enjoyed each day. Would definitely recommend, such a great location to explore the east coast. Our dogs enjoyed the large grassy area and snuggled up by the log burner each night.
Christina
Absolutely beautiful cabin, very clean and new feeling. Welcome basket was very much appreciated. Views from decking and inside cabin were gorgeous, saw dolphins most days. Very private area, other cabins didn't feel close at all and windbreak/privacy screen attached for hot tub. Visited various beaches and walks nearby by car, very dog friendly, c lean and beautiful. We don't tend to go to places more than once but highly recommended to friends and would definitely stay again.
