We had an amazing stay at this lodge! The place was spotless and looked just as lovely as the photos. The welcome basket was a nice touch, full of tasty treatsand the fresh flowers made it feel really special. We took full advantage of the hot tub every day - perfect for unwinding after sightseeing. The location couldn’t be better for exploring the area’s attractions. Honestly, we’re already thinking about coming back next year. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is stunning, with so much to explore nearby-the castle gardens, loch cruisesand the wild bird centre are just some highlights. Richard and Alison have clearly put a lot of effort into making everything just right. Cucina’s Italian food was spot on too. Definitely a place we’d visit again!

This was an incredible lodge. The owners had thought of everything. The place was spotless, the hot tub was perfect and the location was so peaceful. The little extras made it even more incredible- the dressing gowns and slippers with a chocolate on top, access to Netflix, delicious hamper, goodies for our dog, Prosecco and fresh flowers. Such a lovely, thoughtful touch. We loved everything about it.

Brilliant place to stay, everything is very high spec and the owners have really thought of everything. There are some lovely extra touches like a hamper, Prosecco and dog treats which were much appreciated and made us feel so spoiled! The area is quiet and peaceful, but you’ve got loads of attractions close by if you want to explore. And those views are just amazing!

M&D's, Scotland's Family Theme Park is a "must do" day out if you are in the Strathclyde region. The fun attraction is set within 20 acres of beautiful Country Park and offers rides, shows and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Besides the outdoor rides the site is also home to Amazonia - Scotland's only indoor Tropical Rainforest where visitors can meet loads of exotic animals. There is also a large indoor soft play area and an amazing glow in the dark bowling alley, so plenty to do if the weather is bad. During December Scotland's largest Grotto with animated Christmas scenes can also be enjoyed.
