We had a lovely stay here! The place is really well kept and super private, perfect for relaxing. The bedrooms were comfortableand the scenery with sheep all around added a charming touch. Everything we needed was already there, which was a bonus. And yes, the apple juice lives up to the hype - absolutely delicious. If you're after a quiet getaway in the countryside and can drive, this place is just right for you. Would definitely recommend!

This place is absolutely fabulous! The location is perfect for exploring different areas. It's a lovely, friendly local puband the accommodation feels like a home from home; it's extremely clean and comfortable. You'll find everything you could possibly need. The outdoor space is fantastic as well. The highlight for us was when the cows came into the field and just stood there looking into the kitchen window from the fence. We also saw rabbits galore at night, which was really cute. Our elderly dog loved it; it’s all flat for him and there’s plenty of space to potter around in. Just perfect!
Paula

What a lovely setting! Waking up to curious cattle in the surrounding fields was just delightful. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and really helpfuland the facilities were spot on. The enclosed patio and garden were perfect for our dog. Plus, the hot tub was such a relaxing bonus! It felt like the ideal place for a secluded break, yet it’s not far from the M40. There’s even a handy pub at the end of the farm road with a surprisingly extensive menu (the chef was injured the night we visited but the staff stood in loyally to keep things running!) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pendon Indoor Model Village and Railways - OX12 8EA
about 10 Miles
This is an all weather attraction in Abingdon, Oxfordshire which will appeal to all ages.  The model trains are fascinating to watch and we love the model village in the Vale Scene.  The exhibits have been well thought out and it's a pleasure to wander around this museum looking at everything on offer.  You can be assured of a warm welcome from the moment you arrive and for kids and adults alike this makes a fun and educational day out.
Catanger Llama Trekking - NN12 8LJ
about 25 Miles
This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
Farmer Gows - SN7 8DA
about 25 Miles
Farmer Gows is a recommended attraction in the Faringdon area of Oxfordshire and will be especially suited to families with young children.  The little ones will love coming to see the farm animals including pigs, cows and lambs.  The meet the animals session takes place every day and includes handling the animals, walking the goats, feeding the pigs and cows and egg collecting.  Look out for special seasonal events throughout the year such as the Halloween Party, Lambing and children's workshops.  The latest news from the farm is that they have some Saddleback piglets and Speckledy chicks arriving shortly.
Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens - OX18 4JP
about 26 Miles
This has to be one of the most popular days out in Oxfordshire and is sure to appeal to nature lovers, animal lovers and keen gardeners.  Families and couples will enjoy wandering around this amazing park with a wide variety of mammals and birds to see as well as reptiles. Some of the most popular animals are the Burrowing Owl, Dexter Cow, African Pancake Tortoise and the Bar Headed Goose.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and special offers.
