Seafarer's View is a great place, situated right on the high street in Cowes, with a beautiful view from the roof terrace. It is furnished to a high standard and the beds are very comfortable. There was plenty of space for 12 people, and plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. One small issue is that the hot water can run out if people ta ke long showers one after the other (this only happened to us once). The owner is very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Recently improvements have been made to enlarge the straw fun play barn and this is now the biggest indoor play space on the island. This farm is now split into separate attractions, the play barns and petting farm which include rides on tractors and trailors and the tractor driving experience. Open all year this place is also excellent value for money.

There are also several play areas, one for older children, one for the little ones and one for disabled children so no one is left out of the fun. Within the grounds there is also a heritage site, a tea room and a formal garden.

Appley Park is a great place for families with young children to spend the day and is especially popular during the summer months. Within the park is a playground with pirate ship, a selection of slides and swings and a pathway leading down to a lovely sandy beach. Blue Reef Aquarium is an award winning attraction which takes visitors on an under water journey through the British Isles, the Mediterranean to a stunning Coral Reef. Playful Monkeys, adorable Lemurs and White Tigers are just some of the animal which can be seen. Younger children will also love the Zoolittle Farm area where they can meet some of the zoos more affectionate residents and even get to hold them. Admission to the park is free of charge but each of the attractions incur a small charge.
