Welcome to Moon Cottage, a spacious retreat in the picturesque village of Wittersham, Kent. This newly built holiday home, completed in June 2023, offers a perfect blend of modern comfort and countryside charm.

The cottage sleeps up to 8 people, making it ideal for families or groups of friends.

Inside, you'll find an open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area designed for relaxation and socialising. The lounge features a large corner sofa, two armchairs, a wood burner, and a Smart TV.

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals, and the dining area is perfect for family gatherings.

The ground floor has three bedrooms, each with a Smart TV. Two super king-size zip n link bedrooms can be converted into twins on request, one with an ensuite shower room and patio doors.

The third bedroom is a cosy bunk room. A family shower room and a utility cupboard complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, a large games room awaits with a multi-functional games table offering pool, air hockey, and table tennis.

There's also a Smart TV and a day bed with an additional single trundle for extra guests.

Step outside to a fully enclosed garden featuring a wood-fired hot tub, patio seating, a gas BBQ, and a firepit.

It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the stunning countryside views.

Wildwood Trust is well worth a visit if you are staying in the local area. You can experience close encounters with native wildlife - all in a beautiful forest setting. You will find this attraction between the coastal town of Herne Bay and the ancient city of Canterbury. There is a wide variety of animals to see including badgers, foxes and otters. Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest is another very popular attraction and is great for families as there is loads of open space for children to run around. Bedgebury is home to the beautiful National Pinetum and a further 2000 acres of forest as well as an excellent adventure play trail. Families can explore the site via the miles cycling routes and for the more experienced rider there are also 12 km of mountain biking tracks. The specially designed play area features a butterfly climbing wall, a spider's web, a ship wreck and tree stump nest tunnels. Other activities include Go Ape aerial ropes and a brand new zip wire course.

Bodiam Castle - TN32 5UA

Bodiam Castle (National Trust) was built in 1385 and much of the exterior of the castle is still in tact although most of the interior was destroyed during the Civil War.
