Brilliant facilities, especially outdoor pool and hot tub and indoor pool table and table tennis board. These kept 3 generations of our family entertained. Our grandchildren did not want to leave.

The property is a very good family accommodation for different ages. The owners are very friendly and helpful
Ron
The house was absolutely perfect for us (three generations of one family). The weather was glorious too, so much fun was had in the superb pool and hot tub. The games room was enjoyed by everyone in the evenings. We all had a wonderful holiday.
Helen
This is a fabulous property. It is exactly as stated in the blurb. The owners were friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the games room, pool and the pool house with shower etc. We appreciated the generous provision of bbq coals, stuff for the dishwasher and washing machine, plenty of loo rolls etc.
Alice
Wow, what an incredible property and such wonderful hosts! The house is exactly as pictured and described - beautiful in every way and in the most glorious surroundings. The hosts cant do enough to make your stay as perfect as possible and it made us feel so welcome. Thank you so much and wed love to come back!!!

We rented West Hoy Oast to celebrate my partners birthday. There were ten of us and two dogs and at no point did we feel like we lacked space. The property is beautifully decorated, with a well appointed kitchen, games room and and spacious garden and pool area. Nigel, the owner was also extremely helpful and very pleasant. Will definitely be back.

Linda & Nigel are the best hosts we've ever had. So kind and helpful! We feel grateful that they wanted to share their little paradise with us. The house was bigger than we expected and met all of our needs. The hottub kept our kids entertained for hours!
Kate
The setting, with private fields was bliss with a dog. We had a great weekend at the West Hoy Oast. The jacuzzi was used everyday, twice by some of us always brilliant when the weather is cold. Lin and Nigel were the most helpful couple. The Oast house is lovely and spacious and equipped with everything you could need. Thanks for a super weekend.

Wonderful week away (October half term). Lovely property and extremely helpful owners who were always at the end of the phone if needed. Highly recommend. Spacious, clean, well equipped. Would love to return during the summer months to enjoy the heated pool as it closes from September.

What a beautiful place this is. We haven't been on holiday for 5 years so decided to spoil ourselves, and spoilt we were. Absolutely stunning scenery outdoors and plenty of space for our dog who had the time of his life , running freely and exploring. Everything you need is provided, you name it, it's there {just bring along towels for swimming}. L ovely weather and enjoyed a week basking around the pool, with 3 happy kids playing in it daily, and games room of the evening. Can't wait to return.
Mark
Worth every penny spent on this holiday as the hosts, the property, facilities and the beautiful surroundings were excellent. Pool & hot tub checked and looked after on a daily basis by the owner - thank you. Were coming back !!
Lynda
When looking for a family holiday home this one met everyone's requirements and it proved to be exceptional. Pool and hot tub checked every day by owners and used every day by family. Any minor problems immediately sorted. Plenty of space if you wanted some me time. Loved it.
Janice
Everyone loved it. The pool, hot tub and games room were a big hit with everyone of all ages. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out for privacy when necessary and lots of communal spaces to be sociable together.
Julie
This is a beautiful house and the pool, hot tub and games room were really appreciated by all the family. The interior downstairs is fairly dark even in summer so you really need the good weather so that you can enjoy the outside features. The owners lived close by and were very helpful and provided most items to make this an enjoyable holiday for our families. Indoor and outdoor games, dvds, inflatables etc.
Geoff
A comfortable house with great facilities. It met all our expectations and those of our guests. It was very helpful to have the owners close by with our thanks to Lin and Nigel.
Dean
What a fantastic place! The owners were lovely and very friendly. This house has everything you need and then some more. We stayed in mid June with our sons, and grandchildren. The pool and hot tub are large enough for everyone. The games room got plenty of use in the evenings and on the one rainy afternoon we had. The house very large and there is enough space to get away from people of you need to but also the spaces were large enough to accommodate 7 of us easily. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Frank
Very clean. Excellently equipped with everything we needed. Would thorougjly recommend this prpperty and would certainly return.
Janine
We stayed at the Oast for a family weekend in the middle of May and had an amazing time. All the rooms are spacious and well equipped. We made use of all the facilities- as it was chilly when we arrived we lit the wood burner and used the excellent games room. The following 2 days were warm so most of the time spent outside using the really large h ot tub and braving the swimming pool. We really did have a wonderful weekend and would recommend to anyone.
Katherine
Beautiful home, extremely clean and well equipped. Hosts have thought of everything and have a lovely relaxed and warm approach. Perfect for our family friends reunion. Everyone wants to go back next year. Thank you
Hayley
We had a wonderful stay celebrating our 40th birthdays (10 adults, two babies & one dog). The house is just gorgeous & you wont want for anything & the views spectacular. Lin & Nigel (the owners) are very hospitable & helpful. We cant wait to return at another time when the pool is open.
Pamela
The whole weekend was amazing, Lin and her husband were very helpful throughout the stay too. We brought our dog and small grand-child and the facilities for them, as well as the rest of our group were really good. We had a celebratory birthday whilst at the venue and our guests loved it. Easy to park and lots of rooms to socialise. Hot tub was goo d and we even had a cold dip in the pool - very Wim Hoff! I will definitely look to come back with my family. Pam and David
Karen
The house and gardens were amazing. Really great layout to promote communal gathering; be it inside for meals, games, relaxing; or outside around the pool and hot tub. All rooms were beautifully decorated and there was plenty of space for all. The outside pool house was great for getting changed in and avoiding wet people running in the house for d rinks/toilet/showers! The layout suited dogs as well, having a private garden walled garden as well as the all the space outside and in the fields.
Janette
There was 8 of us that stayed here for a Christmas get away. It is a lovely property, very well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was a hit and used daily! And the log burner was amazing. The owners are lovely and so helpful. Our last night was when it snowed!! But the next morning Nigel cleared the path and our cars, absolutely amazing, thank you so much for a wonderful weekend and your kindness that morning.
Nicola
10 people stayed at the house for 2 nights as part of my 50th birthday celebrations. It was one of the few places I found that could sleep 5 coupled in double beds. We were all very impressed with the house and made good use of the hot tub. You need to take a car into Smarden if you want to walk as there are no paths from the house.. the village ha s 2 pubs. The owners were very accommodating and pleasant. The dogs appreciated the towel left for them after walks. Lovely house and great location
Kate
Amazing house.
Ian
This place was amazing. We booked it to have the family together for my daughters 30th birthday celebration. The house was exceptionally comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. A great time was had by all and we would highly recommend it. J

Helen
Very clean, very comfortable indeed. Really enjoyed our long weekend and the property suited the family aged from 9 to 80. Kids loved the hot tub. Lovely outlook over fields and the pond. Nice to be able to walk the dog right there. Thanks to the hosts who were very helpful and friendly.

Stephen
A really amazing place to stay. We had a wonderful celebratory few days there with family and thought it was perfect. The owners were very helpful and met us to show us round and made us welcome. The games room was really appreciated. We would all definitely like to come back there one day! Thank you Lynne and Nigel
Terri
Stunning property. Great location; feels very secluded yet only a few minutes drive away from several places to visit. Loved the pool and hot tub. Will definitely be back.

Just got back from a weeks stay .. what can I say - Absolutely stunning. Nothing to add!!! Place was beautiful, there wasnt one item that was missing / everything you could ever need as there! The photos honestly dont to the place justice. Owners very friendly and helpful.
Elizabeth
A wonderful house with lovely owners. We have been to a different cottage every year for 8 years, all of them very special and this has been on another level. Spotlessly clean, no knocks or bashes. Great equipment. Everything from the big cooking pots to the large serving dishes, the good quality plastic glasses for by the pool, even the music in t he pool house shower! Too much to mention here. Just Wow! We hope to return.
