The barn is very secluded and lies on a working farm. The facilities are amazing, and the hosts Ian and Clare are very welcoming. There are a lot of areas to explore in the area, and when staying closer to home the farm has lovely walks and to relax after a long day, a hot tub looking out over the fields and surrounding countryside. A must stay for friends and family.

We had an amazing stay at Musehill Barn, we couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. The property is set up perfectly for a big family crowd such as ourselves (including a wheelchair). The accommodation is lovely. We were there on a sunny weekend and enjoyed the use of the internet and the hot tub and the bedrooms were all en-suite. There were 6 adults and 6 children aged from 13-3. We had a lovely party using both the large room and patio area. We also went on walks and the owner showed the 2 boys baby owls. We have nothing but positive memories.

Wonderful! Wonderful property in a wonderful location. Ours was a multigenerational group of 11 adults and we all had a fabulous time making good use of the pool table, hot tub, BBQ and even had success with the pizza oven. Thank you so much we had the most wonderful stay and would 100% recommend to anyone. The barn is perfect. We loved the wood fire, pool table and hot tub. The kitchen was really well stocked with everything we needed including an American fridge/freezer with the water and ice machine. The holiday was absolutely made by Ian taking the time to take th e little one onto the farm including lambing, a tractor and trailer ride, he couldnt stop talking about it. Thank you again!

What a prefect location for a getaway in the countryside! The accommodation was fantastic, as were the hosts. Every little detail had been thought of in the barn to make the stay enjoyable. The kids (and grownups!) loved the clay pigeon shooting, tractor & buggy rides in the fields with an added bonus of visiting the animals. Add in the hot tub and pool table and you had everything you needed to ensure a perfect stay with the most beautiful views for miles! Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic Family Christmas at Muse Hill Barn. Six adults and 5 children. The barn was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There is so much space that you can slip away for some quiet time or enjoy the large family area with the TV and log burner. The pool table was a real hit and was in constant use and the hot tub was fantastic. The big boys and little boys played some energetic football on the gravel as the grass was a bit too wet. Ian & Clare were the perfect hosts. We'll be back!

In spite of wet and cold weather we had a fantastic week in this beautiful property overlooking countryside with walks direct from the door. Very well equipped and comfortable for 12 people. Hot tub and snooker table welcome additions and enjoyed by all ages. Property is accessible for wheelchairs with a large ensuite on the ground floor and ramped access to the patio area. Situated a short distance from the local pub/restaurant, supermarket, 45 minutes to nearest beach. Excellent hosts.

Muse Hill Barn is an exceptional property with everything provided to allow a relaxing break. Amazing location, with great walks and if required Devons beaches only a 45 minute drive away. Fabulous place to stay , 6 adults 2 teenagers and 1 large dog and still so much room , we loved the pool table and the hot tub we wished we booked longer. The log burner was fantastic and made the property very cosy.

A fabulous place for a family gathering. All bedrooms have comfortable beds and en suites. The living area is huge with lots of comfortable sofas, a huge tv, table that easily seats 12 and plenty of room for the pool table. The kitchen is really well equipped with a big range cooker, American fridge, wine fridge and beer fridge. The Barn looks over fields and there are plenty of places to sit if the weather is nice. The hot tub was enjoyed by adults and children alike.

Plenary of variety for walking and things to do around about. We stayed in early December for an early family Xmas gathering and the barn was decorated beautifully for our stay and complimentary too. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
