Enjoy Devon living at its best here in this beautiful barn conversion surrounded by rolling fields and views out to sea. The small collection of properties on-site gives a charming village feel, and thoughtful extras like a secure dog walking paddock are ideal for group bookings. The house has bags of character despite a modern renovation and is peppered with artfully exposed stone walls. The farmhouse-style kitchen has a family-size fridge/freezer so you can happily stock up once and concentrate on really relaxing. Round everyone up for laid-back brunches at the chunky pine dining table while you hatch plans for the days ahead, and if the weather’s fine, open up the double doors and let the sea breeze drift in. The separate living room is a great hub for the group to gather at the end of an active day, with a cosy wood burner and TV when you’re all too relaxed to chat. French doors from the living room lead out to a sun-drenched decked area that runs the length of the house. Sit on the benches and enjoy distant sea views across the shared dog exercising paddock or walk down to the other end for a soak in the secluded hot tub. A BBQ is on hand when no-one wants to tear themselves away from the summer sun. The four double bedrooms are spread over two floors, with one from each level available as twin rooms on request, and a fresh modern look throughout. A shower room on the ground floor and bathroom upstairs will accommodate the morning routines, getting you out and about in no time.

Lovely cottage in a remote location, but that did suit us. A great place to lose modern technology and get back to basics. Long walks, footie in the garden, playing a game of pool or darts. We spent a week at this cottage and all I can say is WOW. Its so quiet and peaceful. Nothing is to far we were greeted by lady the farm dog and she became very much part of our holiday. The hot tub was a massive hit with my son and his girlfriend as was the games room we would definitely come back
Sue
This lovely cottage was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Although its on a working farm it was very quiet and peaceful. We loved eating in the conservatory whilst looking out at the many fields beyond, as the views from the cottage/garden/hot tub are spectacular and go on for miles. Our Cocker, Poppy, loved playing in the large enclosed garden , which was 100% Poppy safe. Talking to the cows whilst sitting in the luxury hot tub was a highlight. We really didnt want to leave
Katie
Just returned from a lovely week at the cottage. Had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend the property and the area. Lots of great places to visit fairly locally, great to be able to explain both Cornwall and North Devon. Spent a lot of time in the hot tub. The garden was really secure for the dog and he enjoyed making friends with the c ows! The owners dog came by to greet us which was lovely too.

We loved the cottage, rustic and quirky on a working farm. It's peaceful and private in beautiful countryside with the cows peeking over the fence at you. The hot tub is perfect for watching the sun set with stunning views. From the garden at night you can see the Milky Way, it's so clear and simply amazing. We had a fabulous time.

A lovely cottage in a good location with great views. The hot tub is very relaxing to use after a long day out and the owners to thoughtfully provide extra towels for it . The games room and lots of garden games is great for a young family. Though not near a beach it's well placed to drive to lots of different beaches and attractions.
Wayne
Not perfect but that makes it so much more like a proper cottage, kids loved it and great morning view's.. would recommend to anyone, and will go again 100%..
Julie
Perfect sums this cottage up. Loads of creature comforts. Hot tub isca winner. Very well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels provided. Range is lovely. Cows come to the fence for you. Would not know it was a working farm if not for the cows, it's quiet. The views from the rear are absolutely stunning. Perfect retreat. TV in each room as well. If you love a starry sky wait til night time arrives. Just wow; no light pollution. Games room is good and great for children. We loved the ensuite bedroom.
SUSAN
Lovely well equipped cottage in a peaceful setting with lovely views of surrounding countryside. The cottage has a super hot tub for that extra special treat with towels for the hot tub included . The kitchen is roomy with a large cooker and fridge freezer and plenty of crockery and cooking equipment. Bude, Clovelly and Westward Ho are all close to the cottage and a visit to Hartland Abbey gardens is a must. We had a really relaxing holiday and Brandy our dog enjoyed it too.
Katie
Cottage was lovely had everything you needed and the hot tub was well used for the week we was there went on plenty of trips put as everything is easy to get to from the property. The bed where nice firm for some but was a comfortable stay in all, I will say the stairs are steep but to be expected luckily not many of them to go up . All in all we h ad a lovely week away at this cottage would defiantly stay again.
Jodie
Such a lovely cottage and location! It was ideal for a relaxing break away and seeing the cows in the field next to the garden was wonderful.
Julie
The games room was a disappointment especially as that was one of the reasons we booked this cottage. We did enjoy the jacuzzi even with the high cold winds. The kitchen was really well equipped and we cooked a few meals on that great range cooker. We loved the Christmas decorations which helped us to see in the New Year with gusto. The beds were c omfortable. The heating worked well and the cottage was lovely and warm. The views were panoramic.
Alison
Lovely place great hot tub friendly owner made us really welcome. Some stunning bits of coast too.
Ann
What a lovely cottage, incredibly well equipped kitchen, very clean and good sized rooms. Great enclosed garden for dogs or kids and the hot tub was lovely. I looked in the games barn but didn't use but equipment, looked well maintained with a few different games on offer which would be great for the kids on a wet day. WiFi/phone signal was a bit s potty at times but out in rural areas like this, it should be expected. Owers were lovely and helpful and their collie dog an absolute sweetheart.
Gillian
Fabulous cottage with outstanding views, very comfortable with everything you need for a stay away. Lovely large garden secure for those taking your dog (unless like ours he is a determined escape artist, as the wall below the fence you can stand on and made it easier for him to try and jump over to get a closer look at the cows). In the middle of nowhere just how we like it. But located perfectly to visit both Devon and north Cornwall, will definitely book here again.
David
The property is beautiful and surrounded by nothing but fields. The property has everything you would need. Kitchen fully stocked with all you would use including washing machine and dish washer. Three lovely bedrooms. A bathroom and ensuite. A very cosy lounge. The jacuzzi was lovely and warm and well used. Nice to have a games room to. Lovely sun sets Total darkness at night so loads of stars on show. Plenty of beautiful places to visit. Highly highly recommended
