We had a lovely stay at the cottage! It’s really spacious, super well equippedand so cosy and warm, perfect for relaxing. The surroundings are stunningand the utility area was a lifesaver for drying off our wet dog before snuggling in front of the log burner. The welcome hamper was a lovely touchand that Lemon Drizzle Cake was absolutely divine-had to bring another home! We enjoyed a short walk to the pub, though a torch is handy for the evening strolls. Plenty of charming villages and dog-friendly eateries nearby. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! Lyndsey and Mark made us feel really at home, always happy to chat and answer our son’s endless farming questions. The beds were super comfy, we all slept like logs. The garden was secure for our dog and there were lovely fields nearby for walks. Plenty to explore nearby too, from Saunton beach to cream teas at Withypool. Brilliant trip!

We had such a warm welcome and the accommodation was lovely. Swincombe Mill is in a fantastic spot, especially if you’re bringing along the dogs - the big garden was perfect. The welcome pack was honestly the best we've had in our 12 years of visiting Devon. We enjoyed a lovely walk on the farmand Lindsey was so helpful with tips on where to go. The weather was perfectand The Black Vensus pub just 5 minutes away served great food. Woolacombe Beach was clean and dog-friendly at this time of year. We’re already planning to come back next year!
James

We really enjoyed our stay here! The living space is spacious and the floor’s easy to clean, which was great after a walk with our wet dog. The place comfortably fits four adults plus dogs, with plenty of room left over. The beds and sofas are super comfy, making it feel like a cosy home from home. Just a heads up, bring your dog’s bowl since there wasn’t one when we arrived. There’s loads of lovely spots nearbyand the local pub is fantastic-just remember to book, it’s quite busy!

We just had our first stay at this cottageand honestly, it’s the best one we’ve found after 11 years of visiting Devon. The space is really generous, with high ceilings and a kitchen that’s fully stocked - perfect for our needs. The shower was greatand the super king bed was super comfy! The garden is fab for dogs, especially with that slope which keeps us all active. The Black Venus pub nearby is a must-visitand Woolcombe Beach is just a short drive away. We’ll definitely be back!
Alex
From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a giant’s cosy living room. Beautifully decorated, really spaciousand perfectly kitted out for a comfy stay!
Emma
We loved the cosy, airy barn. The beds were super comfyand there was plenty of hot water. Stunning views! Remember to bring your toiletries, gamesand local maps though.
James
We really appreciated the peaceful vibe of the place, just what we look for. Having some essentials in good quality made a differenceand it wasn’t cluttered with ornaments, so we could unwind easily. A bit of advance notice about the EE network coverage would’ve been helpful since that’s the only provider in the area. Also, an umbrella for the garden furniture would have been a nice touch. Overall, a lovely stay!
Emma
The peaceful setting really makes it a cosy spot with everything you could need.
Emma
The cottage is nestled in such a tranquil spot, perfect for us. It’s super cosy and a fantastic place to unwind. We’d definitely come back again someday!
