Absolutely loved staying here at Beren in Croyde. Would definitely stay here again. Its cozy and homely. The showers and the hot tub were pure bliss. The homeware appliances were also a bonus compared to some places. Location is convenient when it comes to public transport. Beach is only a walk away. Scenery is stunning! Absolutely Loved this cute cottage with a beautiful garden in a perfect location. Hot tub a lovely bonus. But the towels were too small and the main bed is two singles pushed together with different height mattresses which were uncomfortable. The sofas were a bit saggy too but we would definitely visit again if these things were changed.

Lovely cottage with very nice grounds, 10 minute walk to the beach through the sand dunes. The kitchen is very well equipped and the furniture comfy except the double bed as it was 2 different height mattresses.

We have stayed at Beren twice now and highly recommend this lovely cottage. It is very comfortable, clean and well equipped and in a fantastic location right in the heart of Croyde. It has a pretty, private garden and a wonderful hot tub. We love it here and will no doubt be back again!

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
