About Daisy Cottage

Daisy Cottage is a welcoming barn conversion with a hot tub situated just outside Whitchurch Canonicorum, near the charming seaside village of Charmouth in Dorset. A lovely choice for couples or a small family looking to explore the outdoors, Daisy Cottage has exceptional views and is set on a working farm, providing a proper countryside escape.

Inside you can get breakfast cooking in the double oven as you sit at the breakfast bar planning the day of adventure ahead. Take your morning coffee with you into the garden to feel the fresh country breeze as you look at the scenic greenery all around.

Back inside, take advantage of the conservatory where there is extra dining seating, or should you prefer the warmth of the electric fire wrapped around you, sink into the sofa and unwind with your favourite film on the Smart TV. Relax in a bubble bath after ticking off everything on the agenda on a fulfilling day.

From here, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with a double and a single bed, can give you the chance to relax and energise, ready to do it all over again. A quick trip out will bring you to the Five Bells Inn for a drink or two as well as a scrumptious meal, and there are also shops a short drive away for any essentials you may need.

Charmouth is an ideal day out for all due to the divine beach where you can take a dip in the sea or take in the sun with an ice cream. Educate the mind by going into the Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre museum before picking out a restaurant from the many on offer.

Lyme Regis offers another day at the beach but with the chance to go hunting for fossils or you can unleash your competitive side with some crazy golf. Top the fun off with a stroll through the Langmoor and Lister gardens letting the pretty scenery take up your views.

Monkey World - BH20 6HH
about 28 Miles
Monkey World is not only a local attraction but the work they carry out is amazing.  Rescuing and rehabilitating monkeys and assisting governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates are just some of the purposes of the centre. You get to see the primates themselves many of which have become famous from appearing on the TV show Monkey World - a documentary about this place. Open year round we think this is one of best attractions in Dorset and you even get the chance to adopt a monkey if you choose.
