Just got back from a lovely long weekend at No 2 The Curwens. Honestly, it’s the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed in! The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. The house is super spaciousand we loved having plenty of logs for the wood-fired hot tub and the fireplace in the lounge. Even though it’s not detached, the thick walls meant we couldn’t hear a thing from neighbours. Our dog had a great time running around in the secure meadow right outside. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage in a really peaceful location. The buildings on the complex are beautiful and the grounds are so well-kept! The cottage itself was very well-equipped, super clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the bubbles on arrival too. The hot tub was a lovely treat and warmed up pretty quickly! It's close to the market town of Shaftesbury, which has some lovely boutique shops and a nice variety of eateries. We knew it was a journey to the coast when booking, so that was fine. Frank, our cocker spaniel, had a great time as well. Many thanks for a really enjoyable stay!

We loved the hot tub for relaxing in the evenings. The personal touches like milk, toilet rolls, hand soap and prosecco were just lovely. Shaftesbury is a beautiful townand Poole or Weymouth is about 50 mins away. The owners were really friendlyand we would definitely recommend it!
