Hazel Lodge is a two-storey log cabin with an unusual layout, this delightful, detached property sits within the grounds of Shells Cottage, just a short distance from Washford. The two floors are linked by an external staircase allowing this Washford Lodge to accommodate up to eight people during school holidays (at an extra cost, please ring for prices) yet allowing the upstairs to either remain locked and unused for up to 4 guests or unlocked for up to 8 guests.
The ground floor can accommodate up to four guests at any time of the year and the upstairs will be locked and unoccupied. There are two bedrooms and shower rooms on each floor of this Washford lodge, while the ground floor living area boasts a glowing wood burner in a feature fireplace, exposed beams and comfortable sofas, so you can sit back and relax after a busy day exploring the area.
Outside this Washford lodge, is a decked area, leading to a private sheltered hot tub, the ultimate luxurious touch for any holiday. Head off to Minehead for the day and enjoy the long sandy beach and its station for the West Somerset steam railway, or explore the narrow winding cobbled streets of Dunster, just a short drive away.
There is a wealth of options in the area, from clay-pigeon shooting, CO2 shooting and archery to horse riding and sea fishing, plus two miles away is the pretty ancient port of Watchet and Blue Anchor Beach.
