Blueberry Cottage Reviews

We enjoyed our week at Blueberry Cottage and although it is a working farm it was incredibly quiet. The cottage is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts were at hand if advise was needed. However, one concern we have is with SYKES information. We like pets but always tick the box for 'no pets' as we know some owners allow their pets on the furniture. After confirming our stay we read the owners writeup which stated pets are allowed in the cottage.
Great hoiday cottage excellently positioned. There are a few quirks with the plumbing ensuite toilet flushes very slowly and does not flush around the rim only the back half is wet by the flush. The family bathroom hot water runs cold when another tap is used. Problem with fridge door swiftly sorted much appreciated, as were the welcome gifts. Beds were very comfortable. Thank you.
Andrea
Lovely cottage really well situated close to Haverfordwest with all facilities you would need. Also centrally situated in Pembrokeshire, which allows you to visit all the beautiful places Pembrokeshire has to offer. The cottage had been done out to a very high standard and the owners were very friendly and reactive to our needs. Even though the cottage was situated in the middle of the farm there was no problem with noise or privacy. I would definitely recommend staying at Blueberry cottage
Patrick
Lovely cottage, Had everything we needed, Very central for exploring the area.
Michael
Great accommodation with welcoming pack and all equipment required for an enjoyable stay. Good experience of the working farm and owners very friendly and the added bonus of Spud the dog visiting daily.
The bed in the master bedroom is so comfy, when ww got there the kettle was missing, one simple phone call and a new one appeared. Will be coming back again
Patricia
Fabulous cottage in a beautiful setting. Our stay was only 3 days and we wish we we could have styed longer. The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and had everything needed for a short or longer stay. A lovely thought was to leave some fresh eggs and a bottle of wine plus some gorgeous flowers from the garden. Towels and bed linen were first class, great pillows and, in fact, the duvet was so good, we ordered the same one from a well known store!! We couldn't make use of the garden as the weather conspired against us but it looked a great space to relax in. We would book Blueberry Cottage again in a heartbeat.
Michael
Lovely clean peaceful cottage, everything we needed for relaxing holiday. Patio block paving needed weeding .
Great, apart from the flies. A can of fly spray and a proper clean under the twin beds and we would be sound. Nice place to stay, comfortable quiet and close enough to places of interest. I did get a bit fed up with flies dive bombing me as I slept though.
Very comfortable property. Quiet rural location it was conveniently situated just outside Haverfordwest an excellent location for exploring Pembrokeshire. The hot tub was very relaxing after a days walking. The pristine interior was let down a bit by the garden, and exterior pots which felt a bit neglected and bear little resemblance to the photos. Hence the 4 stars
Had a great and relaxing stay at Blueberry Cottage which is in a rural location. . Everything that you could wish for was provided. It is a spacious and bright cottage with a private garden at the rear with a hot tub. Comfortable furniture and a very comfortable bed. Sparkling clean on arrival. Haverfordwest is a good base with easy road links for travelling to different parts of Pembrokeshire. Would be very happy to return and thoroughly recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and blueberry cottage, a very comfortable and relaxing accommodation with lovely hosts. The garden and the hot tub were a huge bonus as we had some glorious weather while staying here. Will definitely be booking again!
Arthur
Nice cottage but let down by a totally overgrown garden and weeds on the patio. Concerned that the hot tub was not checked for water level or chemicals at any time in the week that we were there.
Just returned from a lovely week at Blueberry Cottage. The cottage was beautifully presented and the beds were the comfiest we've ever slept in in a holiday let! The hot tub was a big bonus. Overall we had a lovely, relaxing break and would thoroughly recommend staying here.
Serena
A really comfortable and well appointed cottage with everything you could need. It was very clean and warm. Hot tub and wood burner nice touches of luxury. Flowers, wine and fresh farm eggs a welcoming thought.
Timothy
Arrived at cottage what a lovely place. it has the relaxing effect on you as soon as you walk through the door the presentation of the cottage excellent cleanness 1010 to the cleaners the only minor thing was the Hot tub enjoyed it, but the overpowering strong smell off the chemical's all in all would totally recommend any body to stay in this idyllic cottage and peaceful area.
This is a perfect cottage, it has everything there that you need and more. The hosts are brilliant. This is the second year running that we have been there, we love walking and have done quite a lot of the cliff path in this area. There are so many places to visit. It is great.
Wow!! what a beautiful holiday cottage and a great location to see Pembrokeshire . Holiday cottage is very clean & spacious and has everything you need. Stephen & Clare are great hosts, with fresh flowers, wine & eggs on arrival & some great recommendations on where to visit. While we were there we visited Picton Castle, Little Haven Beach, Whitesands & St David's Head , St David's, Tenby & Caldey Island & Fishgard & totally enjoyed every minute of it. Such a beautiful part of the country. We were sad to leave but will certainly be back. If you are considering visiting Pembrokeshire I would certainly recommend this property to stay in.
It was a fantastic stay. Accommodation was beautifully furnished and clean and comfortable. Very central to travel around. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. The only reason that I didn't give top marks for facilities was purely personal as I would of preferred a washing .achine than a dishwasher, but that by no means made a difference to our stay. The eggs are amazing but the way.
Really loved our time at this cottagerelaxing, accommodating, very comfortable. Cant wait to return. The super kind bed was amazing! And really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a coastal walk.
Barbara
This is the second time that we have stayed in Blueberry Cottage and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to return. The cottage is very comfortable and furnished to the highest standards. We shall probably come back again.
Perfect for our needs. Loved being on a busy working farm. Private secluded garden was a bonus. Very friendly and helpful owners .
Justin
Lovely property, spacious barn and with quality fixtures and fittings. Lovely giant bed in master, couldnt keep the kids out though Will definitely be asking to come back.
This is a wonderful barn conversion on a working farm. The photos do not do justice to the quality of the interior. The barn is furnished to the highest standard and is a delight. The farm owners could not have been more hospitable, or helpful to us. We stayed for 8 weeks and will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good location in Pembrokeshire.
Michael
It is an excellent property and very well placed for getting around the West Wales area. Thanks too for the very educational tour of the farm which we were given by the owners.
Very lovely cottage fully equipped. Friendly hosts and good location. One point to make that it is on a farm that is fairly remote. Do not go expecting to stroll down the lane to a local pub or restaurant they are all a drive away. Loved being shown round farm and hearing about the different ventures. The fresh eggs were delicious.
Norman
An excellent and warm welcome. Located in the middle of a working farm, so expect the full experience!
Country farm setting great. Quiet and relaxing. Super place to set off to explore surrounding areas. Cannot fault. Had a great time. Would have no problem in returning. Many thanks
Richard
Quiet rural setting. Cottage well equipped. very comfortable furnishings. Brilliant for two couples. Ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire.
The cottage was fantastic, Stephen and Clare were very friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything you needed, and was a prime position for travelling around Pembrokeshire. There was a closed in garden so when we came back from walking the cliff path, we could sit out and relax. It was excellent.
Blueberry cottage is a very comfortable cottage that is perfectly located for exploring Pembrokeshire.
We had a great 2 weeks at Blueberry Cottage. A perfect location which was central to the various Pembrokeshire attractions. Despite being truly rural, everything was within 45 mins drive, with big supermarkets, etc. in Havorfordwest itself, jut a few minutes away. Clare and Stephen were fantastic and attentive hosts, and even provided a guided tour of their working farm which was a fascinating treat. Thanks for a truly memorable holiday!
The cottage was extremely comfortable, the facilities were great and the owner very helpful if we needed to contact them. They gave us 6 eggs from their hens, a bottle of rose wine and a lovely vase of flowers as a welcome. The cottage was in a great location central for exploring all of Pembrokeshire. We would definitely return.
