We really liked the cottage and its location. Would definitely recommend it . The nearest pub, The Royal Oak Pub, locally known as The Splash, because you had to negotiate a ford to get to it, provided excellent food and great beer.
Alexandra
Couple who own cottage are lovely and personal touches were very much appreciated. Cottage comfortable and spotless and hot tub great. Husband and son enjoyed games room. Nice walk to Royal Oak pub (would book as very busy), not too far from coast and Louth.
Jo
Absolutely perfect accommodation. Everything spotlessly clean, bedding & towels smelled clean and fresh, tea, coffee etc, lovely little courtyard and hot tub checked regularly. Nice little dog walk on site for our puppy. Paul & Shirley very welcoming, friendly hosts. Would definitely return to this little peaceful & comfortable cottage.

We had a lovely time here - me and my husband, adult daughter and wonder rescue dog, Nellie. The cottage has everything you need and the hot tub and games room were great. We recommend Louth Market days, Legbourne Ancient wood - drive as far as you can, there is parking! - and Mablethorpe dog's beach. The nearest Co-op is in Manby, 3 minutes away bRead moreut there is a general store in Legbourne too. Loads of restaurants and takeaways in Louth. The owners are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. Hide

Fantastic cottage and lovely owners. The cottage is very comfortable, well equipped and the site is very quiet. Lovely area for walking which our dog enjoyed and not far from the coast.
Michelle
We have just returned from a fabulous week at Furze Farm Estate Cottage. The wonderful hosts, Paul and Shirley, greeted us upon arrival and and showed us around, explaining how to use the hot tub (which is amazing) and all the things we needed to know inside the very well equipped cottage. The description on the holiday cottages website doesnot do this property justice, as it is a true home from home. Thanks Paul and Shirley. We would definitely visit again x
Susan

Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 2 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 12 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 13 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 18 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
