Tai Ucha Reviews

Joanne
Beautiful cottage located on a working farm. Hot tub was a pleasure. Local cats were super friendly and a joy to wake up to in the mornings. Location is convenient for Snowden and zip world experiences. Property was very clean and fully equipped. We had a lovely four days at this property and would gladly return.
Christine
We had a lovely long weekend at the cottage. The goodies the owner left us was a kind gesture. The cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed and considering we were a party of 7 adults was very spacious. The hot tub was great and we all enjoyed days and evenings spent in it. We would have loved to use the open fire which is a lovely feature, but as the weather was surprising hot for October we had no need to. Would highly recommend this cottage.
An old farm house cottage in a beautiful setting on a working farm. The calfs were wonderful to see . The host Mena was the best weve ever known, very helpful when needed.
What can I say! ! We had a fantastic time. From the cottage being clean and tidy with beds made to the quietness around us. The hot tub was a fantastic place to unwind. Clean on our arrival and just the perfect temperature. Open fire crackling away of a evening was also a highlight of ours to the snug room that the children went to chill and watch tv. Would highly recommend to visit and stay for anyone looking for a tranquil peaceful getaway with or without children.. we was a party of 7. This included 2 adults and 5 children ages 312 Would definitely book again. Many thanks to the owner Mena who was only a phone call away and managed to meet her as we was leaving.
Jessica
Such a lovely holiday cottage. Had all the facilities we needed and more! So cozy, quiet and comfortable. We loved having the hot tub and BBQ to add to our experience. Mena was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Couldnt have asked for anything more
Claire
We were impressed with Tai Ucha throughout. The place was immaculate on arrival. We had a nice welcome plate with tea, coffee, milk and treats. Theres a lovely outside space, a spacious and well equipped modern kitchen, the snug and lounge are cosy and comfortable. Having 2 spaces was a bonus with the kids. Upstairs the bedrooms were comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The Bathrooms were large, clean and modern. There was a selection of games to entertain us during our typical British Summertime stay. The hot tub was great, the kids enjoyed by day and the grown ups in the eve. Mena was an attentive host, she was in touch a few times over our stay and I would recommend her to anyone considering a stay. The area is amazing. So beautiful with lots of options for activities. This was our first visit to North Wales and wed love to come back.
Michael
Lovely clean and pleasant home. Family enjoyed the hot tub! Beautiful walks in the area. Very helpful and friendly owner. Highly reccomend. Would love to come back again.
Beautiful house and surroundings, host was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely book again. Thank you
Absolutely fantastic property! Host is amazing! Couldnt have asked for more! Lovely property in the middle of nowhere with everything you could need! We went to celebrate a 30th birthday and it was perfect. I will definitely be returning
Wonderful cottage, comfy beds, plenty of space, Mena was so helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay. The house is very quirky with lots of rustic features. 7 of us stayed and the house was big enough for us all to fir in comfortably. Everything we needed for our start was already provided. The house is situated on a working farm I'm the middle of nowhere so it was peaceful waking up to the sounds of nature. The owner was always on had to help if needed. Overall we had a lovely stay I would definitely recommend it.
Whilst we would have preferred to have been nearer to Snowdon, the cottage and hosts were excellent and made for an extremely enjoyable weekend. The area is still lovely and we were also very fortunate with the weather. The property is very roomy and has a great feel to it. At the end of a busy day, the hottub is ideal to help relax and is plenty big enough for four in comfort. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property if the area suits and can highly recommend the nearby Crown Pub, which is a short drive away via the B5105.
Frances
Lovely place , peaceful except for the drilling and banging on Sunday lol Owners very helpful and friendly. Lovely rustic cottage would come again xx
Louise
We attended for a friends 30th and it was brilliant! Great location, house is beautiful! Mena was really helpful and recommended some great places to eat! We would highly recommend.
Tai ucha is a beautiful house on a working farm. We loved it here. Beautiful views. North wales is also so beautiful we cant wait to go back. Mena was so helpful she put a cot and high chair up for my son. And gave us information about all the local facilities. We would 100 come back here

Lovely property set in a rural location. Mena was a great host from leaving milk and biscuits for us on arrival to resolving a small issue we had with the heating system. Family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Hot tub was well used. Regards
Patricia
We had a family holiday in this property at the beginning of August. The house itself was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. We were a party of 7 adults and there was plenty of room for us in the house. The kitchen was spacious and it was also useful having 2 lounges one where we could relax and read and the other for those who wanted to watch TV. An added bonus was the hot tub which was used every evening fabulous. The location was excellent as well and there was plenty to do in the area. We were able to explore castles on the coast, Snowdonia and the excitement of the Forest Coaster at BetwsyCoed. Would definitely recommend this property!
Absolutely stunning location and everything was perfect. Mena and her family could not have been more friendly and helpful!
Thomas
Brilliant! It is very private, lovely setting. Middle of nowhere but that's the point! Nice yard for chilling out, but no real garden ie for kids running around, ball games etc Next to a working farmyard so not the quietest but no problem. Two very friendly yard cats, but knew they weren't allowed inside. Lovely inside, lots of space and very comfy. We had 8 guys for a stag do and brought a few double airbeds, no problem. Barbeque is more of a paella pan on on gas, and could have more frying pans, but otherwise well equipped. Host was lovely and topped up the hot tub when we had an overflow just about fit 8 fully grown very friendly men, which is impressive.
Daniel
House was really nice spacious comfortable and cozy. Host went the extra mile with the milk and biscuits as well
The perfect place to relax and tour the surrounding area. The house has everything you could need and is in a brilliant spot. I would highly recommend. We will be booking again in the future.
Joanne
6 sisters spending valuable time together and celebrating the Birthday of one of us. We had a wonderful long weekend at Tai Ucha. It is a beautiful house, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Mena made us very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. She was on hand without being intrusive in any way. Many thanks.
Michelle
What a fabulous holiday cottage! So clean, well equipped and the most attentive hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The hot tub was a hit with the whole family and we also really enjoyed the log fire. We loved the area, it was so peaceful but also such a lovely area to drive around when heading out for the day. The highlight for our youngest daughter was the farm cats who were very friendly and came by several times each day. Thank you so much for the most perfect holiday!
Robert
Tai Ucha, is an excellent place to stay, the owner Mena, is a wonderful person, very kind and considerate. The Cottage was very well planned out clean and very comfortable with all of the amenities that we needed, I was particularly impressed by Mena who suggested many exiting places to visit while we were there without this we would have been a little lost as we had never been to this part of North Wales before. My whole family enjoyed our stay, I would recommend anyone to stay there if your in the area. My sincere thanks to Mena for making our stay a very pleasurable experience
Catrin
We loved our stay at Tai Ucha. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. It is conveniently located for lots of activities in Snowdonia, after which the hot tub is a welcome way to relax! Mena is a lovely host and we had a very warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

The property is amazing and has everything you could need and more. It's clean comfortable and the light burner is a bonus. Mena was so helpful and she made sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely book again. Thank you.

An amazing property that was very cozy. Had everything we needed and more. A good size kitchen where we could easily cook a decent meal for our big group and sit down and enjoy it. We got cozy in the snug and the living room. When we ran out of wood the lovely owner was more than happy to drop more off. Speaking of the owner she was amazing. Very welcoming and gave us all the local knowledge we needed to get by. If your a cat lover then the farm cats will be there to great you as well.
Cheryl
We had a fabulous stay at Tai Ucha, the property is stunning, absolutely spotless and comfort beyond belief. Mena was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble during our stay.

We had such a lovely time at Tai Ucha. The place was so clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Nothing was too much for the host, we had privacy but we knew she was there for us incase we needed anything. The hot tub was a lovely treat. Also the open fire. We used it every night. It's so close to many lovely beautiful places to visit. We would definitely come again.
Absolutely stunning home, so nicely presented and comfortable, the hot tub was fantastic after being out and the games provided were great. The host was so helpful and welcoming, couldnt fault a thing!
Superb property! Comfy, modern and extremely clean and the owners are always on hand to help and advise.

What a place lovely setting lovely owners made our weekend five stars from all our party
The house was equipped with everything we needed. Mena was available if needed but not intrusive. Beautiful house really clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this property.
Great holiday, the house was spotlessly clean and in a lovely rural spot. Mena was extremely helpful before and during the holiday. Would return!
Tai Ucha is a great family cottage. There isnt much we could fault to be honest. Mena is a wonderful host and she provided a lot of helpful tourist information for us. The only downside was we couldnt stay for longer. If you are looking for a family cottage in North Wales, then look here. You wont be disappointed.
Booking process with Sykes easy as always. The accommodation Tai Ucha was excellent. Lovely house, great facilities and nice peaceful location. The owner was great, on hand when we needed anything and very welcoming and friendly.
This is a delightful property well managed and clean could not want for anything its all there. Well positioned for Snowdon and other attractions. Host was always available for help.
Excellent cottage for a quiet getaway with plenty of walks nearby. The owners are very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. Mena was very informative of local walks which we appreciated! Fantastic place and very homely. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Its obvious the owners have taken great care to ensure their guests have a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
