Pen Y Clawdd is possibly one of the most peaceful and scenic places I've ever had the privilege to stay at! ! The ability to get up and out was slowed down by the view. The peace and relaxation was invaluable. You're close enough to visit places, especially HayonWye, a must in our book!!
It was as much, if not more, than we hoped it to be. Great property, great location. Would definitely visit again.
Rebecca

Hottub well maintained and brilliantly private. The whole place is enchanting and will be a very special week's memory for my whole family. Looking forward to returning some day.

Can not fault this property at all, everything was perfect, will definitely be returning, communication with the owners was fantastic, really nice couple, if you want piece and quiet and relaxation this is definitely the place your looking for
Stayed with my parents, husband, 9 year old daughter and dog. We had an amazing time, the property had a very warm, welcoming feel. The only negative was the outside light not working, for evening dips in the hot tub but I know the owner was intending on fixing it asap. The owner also very kindly, went above and beyond and returned our daughter's school book to us through the post. We are very happy customers, who would highly recommend pen y clawdd cottage.
Me and my partner had the most amazing stay at Pen Y Clawd! The cottage way exceeded our expectations and as the most beautiful, perfect place! It was everything we wanted and more. The owners were so lovely and helpful, answering all of our questions and giving us recommendations of places to go. We both agreed we had never felt more relaxed or comfortable on a vacation. The place was so warm, cosy and homely. Cannot recommend Pen Y Clawd more just perfection!
Elissia
We had a wonderful stay at Pen Y Clawdd. The lodge was beautiful, cosy and clean. Miranda was very helpful and easy to contact should we need anything. We really appreciated how ecofriendly this lodge was, with even the cleaning products being crueltyfree and environmentally friendly. We enjoyed using the hot tub, exploring the local area and peaceful mornings on the porch admiring the view!! We could not have asked for more from our stay here, it was an excellent break from busy city life!
Beautiful location. Lovely lodge and fab hot tub. Excellent if you are looking for a relaxing break away from it all.
Angela
Any questions that we had were responded to very quickly and we had a lovely week. Beautiful walks and star gazing whilst sitting in the hot tub. What more could you want?!
Jamie-leigh
When we got there the hot tub wasnt working but the owner was super friendly and got it working for us after consulting the manual. The neighbours next door were extremely loud and disrespectful but that was nobodys fault. The lodge is very much in the middle of nowhere and the local village which is about ten minutes drive away is very dead. Our child got bored quite a lot. There was no plug for the bath but this was no big deal as there was a shower in the downstairs bedroom. The lodge itself was very well equipped but considering its such a drive to the nearest supermarket, if I was being picky Id say bigger fridge freezers would be a better option. It was a lovely warm lodge though and a great break away and the owner is a really delightful person really friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Id possibly come back for a weekend stay we just felt a week was a bit too long for us.
Jasmin
Such a lovely peaceful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the cabin is great it has everything you need for a great weekend away. Only comment is that the hot tub wasnt hot enough for our first night so we couldnt make use of that on our first evening and the beds are quite small. Other than that we absolutely loved it and have already recommended to friends. Fantastic place if you have dogs, they are safe secure and stunning walks really close by.
