About Plas Glyndwr

Plas Glyndwr is an exquisite house nestled in the rural outskirts of Cwmdu near Llangorse, Brecknockshire. Boasting en-suite bedrooms and a hot tub, this property is perfect for large families or groups of friends seeking an unforgettable stay in the heart of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.

Arrive through the grand, gated entrance into a large, private driveway. Upon entering, you will be welcomed by the opulence of the lavish, marble hallway, which proudly displays its design while the chandelier provides a touch of sparkle.

Spread across four floors, this property offers eight beautifully-presented bedrooms. Two of these are double rooms, each boasting an en-suite with a walk-in shower.

Another double room also features a walk-in shower, while two additional double rooms provide inviting sleeping arrangements. One of the double rooms even benefits from a balcony and an en-suite with a bath.

On the second floor, you will discover two more double rooms, each very spacious with an en-suite featuring a bath. Ensuring no morning queues, there is also a delightful bathroom on the first floor with a freestanding bath and walk-in shower, along with a ground-floor shower room and cloakroom.

The heart of the home is the kitchen, the perfect spot to host a special occasion or simply a little dinner party with the family. Here, you will find everything you need to prepare delicious meals with the luxury of a TV, ensuring all entertainment is covered during your stay.

Spend mealtimes together in the large, formal dining room, before retiring to the plush sitting room to relax as music enthusiasts can enjoy a tune or two on the grand piano. Outside, the enclosed front garden features a patio and lawn, whilst the enclosed rear garden offers a patio and a hot tub, perfect for unwinding under the stars after a day of exploring the rural surroundings.

Cantref Adventure Farm - LD3 8LR
about 7 Miles
Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. At only £29.00 for a family of 4 the park offers outstanding value for money.
Lama Trekking at Old king Street Farm - NP16 6AA

Lamas are gentle, affectionate and unique animals and Lama Trekking is fast becoming a popular family attraction. At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland. Lamas are not ridden but they can carry all the picnic essentials including tables and chairs! Lama Treks around the stunning Black Mountains are also available. 
Rhondda Heritage Park - CF37 2NP

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street.  Fully guided tours are available and include multimedia presentations as well as a unique trip underground where visitors will experience the life of a coal miner. The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.
Queenswood Country Park - HR6 0PY

Queenswood Country Park has a stunning location offering panoramic views of the countryside. The area is abundant with wildlife and you can see how many species you can spot while enjoying the nature trails. The park also has a large children play area and a licensed café. Seasonal activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and at peak times of the year including Halloween events and crafting sessions as well as ranger led walks.
Puzzlewood - GL16 8QB

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.
