The property has been beautifully laid out to create an experience that won't be forgotten in a hurry. With large open spaces that are light and inviting there is plenty to explore within. Leading off from the entrance hallway you can find the contemporary kitchen/diner. With its large wooden dining table there is more than enough room for everyone to gather for a celebratory meal. The bbq & outside firepit, couldn't ask for more. Plenty open space outside for the dog to roam. So quiet and peaceful. The owners were so friendly, made you feel at home, if you nee ded anything they were there for you. Only thing I struggled with was the roads, very tight, very few places to pass. We rented out the Little Rew Cottage for our Honeymoon and it was one of the best decisions we made! The cottage is absolutely STUNNING and you want for nothing while you're there. The hosts were lovely and even left us some flowers, a card and a bottle of Champagne in the fridge which we thought was a lovely touch! The bed was comfy, the whole pla ce cozy and everything you could need is there. The local area is also picturesque and it was perfect! We are definitely planning on returning.

Loved this place, best one we have stayed in and would definitely visit again. Well equipped and comfortable. Remote location may not suit everyone but we loved it and our anxious German shepherd settled in enjoying the peace and being able to roam freely in the fully secure large garden. Thanks to Kate and Matt for the much appreciated bottle of P rosecco and other goodies plus the bonios for the dog.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
