Valley View Reviews

We have been going away to cottages for over 10 years at New Year and this has been far and away the best equipped place we have ever been too. Our party had two babies, two small dogs and a 4 year old and there was everything we needed plus more. Perfect for adults and kids as the garden is enclosed, the house is spacious and has all the mod cons can't recommend it enough!!
Our 2nd family Christmas at Valley View and another wonderful stay. The house is fabulous and the festive extra touches made us feel special and at home. Cant recommend highly enough!! Thank you x
Valley View provided superb accommodation for our family celebration. Beautifully clean and so well equipped. Lovely, friendly, helpful owners who very thoughtfully arranged equipment for the little ones and throws and treats for the dog as well as brownies for the grownups! Hot tub was lovely to sit and watch the stars from or to enjoy the country views. Great to have a changing room and towels close by. We hope to return in the summer. Thank you.
Beautiful property to stay in. The owners have given much care and thought into providing a comfortable and enjoyable home for their guests. It is spacious, stylish and clean. Wonderful views from the back garden, a hot tub to relax in and a choice of garden furniture to sit on, weather permitting. I would happily recommend Valley View to others.
Absolutely loved our stay at valley view. The house was lovely and clean and at a high standard throughout. Every detail has been thought of to make our stay with young children and two dogs as homely as possible, all the extra details were very thoughtful. We really enjoyed the cakes and the hot tub was the finishing touch along with a beautiful garden and views. My only comment would be the sofa was quite low and soft however it was comfortable enough and wouldn't put us off we would definitely return. We did have to watch the dogs in the garden as there was grapes on a vine at their height. Overall we would definitely recommend and would love to come back. Thank you for a lovely family holiday.
The house is beautifully presented and very well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped the only thing we missed were weighing scales. The garden is beautiful with excellent views and plenty of space with lots of seating options. The hot tub is great and the changing room is a nice touch. We enjoyed using the BBQ. The location is great but a bit more rural than we realised. There is a local shop and pub but these require driving to or cutting through footpaths on fields to access this is not a criticism but was not apparent from the property description. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels which was great especially with the hot tub. Only addition which would be nice would be a hairdryer. In summary it was a great location for our family holiday there were 8 of us ranging from age 9 85. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy spending time together in between days out in the lovely Essex countryside. Thank you!
Second time staying here, amazing place!

We enjoyed our stay at Valley View. The hot tub was a real hit! The house was generally well equipped and the owners were generous and kind. A comfortable seat for an older person would have been a great addition in the sitting room. Also a softer pillow or two. New bulb needed in sitting room lamp for next visitors. The house was wonderfully quiet and we enjoyed the countryside views and the wildlife in the garden.
Debbie

We have just had the best family Christmas at Valley view, it is without doubt a 5 property. The location, the hot tub, the spacious rooms and the quality of everything was superb. It was made even more special by the wonderful festive touches that Dee had added, the lights, trees, decorations and table dressings were just perfect. Thank you!! We'd love to return next year.
Hannah
Valley View was a stunning 5 hotelstyle property, with every amenity you could ask for. Best parts were the huge garden with lots of different comfy furniture and the big hot tub. We left with the most amazing memories and would love to go back there one day! And the owners were so helpful and accommodating.
The place was lovely, we really enjoyed our time. So helpful and nice but without being on top of us. Everything in the house was great and the hot tub with a view was just wonderful.
