Everything about our stay was wonderful ,the only thing i would suggest is to ... Everything about our stay was wonderful ,the only thing i would suggest is to have thicker mattresses on the beds ,other than that perfect ,had everything that we needed for a relaxing few days ,would highly recommend

Have just returned after a 5 night stay at the lodge. We would highly recommend anyone to go and stay. The place is so tranquil and Brendon couldnt do enough for us. The lodge is packed with everything you need . Hot tub was ready to use on our arrival. Will definitely be going back

Such a beautiful week at Bridge Farm! Brendan and team were so helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be back for sure! 10 stars
Couldnt have asked for better mini break. The owners were very friendly and were only a text or call away if we needed anything. Nice peaceful location and very well maintained site. Would definitely come back again.
Samantha
Had an absolutely amazing stay here, so clam and peaceful. Will defuse returning in the future.

The lodge and its setting were perfect, offering an ideal escape and a true place of relaxation. Although small, it provided a cozy snug for a short getaway. The lodge itself had everything one could need. Its location was perfect close to local attractions and larger towns and cities for tourist activities, yet secluded enough to offer privacy and peace, allowing us to enjoy the lake during the day and the stars from the hot tub at night. The local village was beautiful, super friendly, and welcoming, a true pleasure to visit. The only drawback of the holiday was the noisy refrigerator. It would randomly start humming very loudly, as if the fan or motor was running on overdrive, often disrupting our sleep and making it difficult to fall back asleep. Turning up the temperature helped for a short while, but the noise would soon start again. Despite this issue, it was a perfect vacation with a beautiful setting and wonderful staff.
Richard
I cannot recommend Acorn Lodge highly enough. It is such a comfortable place to stay, with a private hot tub and private outdoor seating area to light your own fire. The setting is beautiful and very well kept by the staff to ensure it is clean, tidy and very well maintained. While mentioning the staff, the service was outstanding. The staff were on hand at any time to provide whatever help we needed and went above and beyond to he helpful for us. The lodge itself is very well built, everything is clean and well kept. It is well designed to provide everything you could need, its very comfortable inside as well. Lastly, you're only a short drive to Banbury for an evening out, and walking distance to the nearby pub should you wish to head out on foot.
A fantastic holiday. Superb location and awesome amenities. Superb customer services. Definitely going to return.
Everything was perfect, most relaxing getaway Ive ever had
Had an amazing break at Acorn Lodge. Bridge Lake Farm is such a beautiful tranquil place, we particularly enjoyed sitting on our pontoon with a glass in hand! Brendon was extremely helpful, would definitely like to visit again.

I recently had the most amazing stay at this lovely lodge tucked away in a secluded area. It was such a peaceful and relaxing experience that I could truly unwind and recharge. The accommodation was spotless and went above and beyond my expectations. The attention to detail and cleanliness really made a difference in my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway. Can't wait to visit again!
We absolutely loved our stay in the Acorn Lodge at Bridge Lake. Incredibly peaceful, beautiful scenery, friendly host, and an all round amazing little break! The hot tub is a great addition as well. We will 100 return for another relaxing getaway!

We had a brilliant, relaxing weekend away in acorn lodge. The lovely host Brendan was very helpful, he met us on our very late arrival to bring us and our luggage down to the lodge in a golf buggy and had the wood burning hot tub already warmed for us. The lodge was very clean and well equipped and it stayed lovely and warm due to the underfloor heating. Relaxing in the hot tub looking out over the lake was beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely be booking again thank you very much for a fabulous weekend
Allison
We had an amazing time. Everything was perfect, every part was thought out so well. So clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying to any one. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back x
This was our second stay at Bridge Lake, our first in Acorn Lodge. We can not put into words how wonderful our stay was. Brendan and family are very welcoming and courteous. The hot tub is ready for when you arrive and the accommodation feels like home. The location is tranquil and perfect for escaping reality and unwinding.
We stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect. The lovely man helped with our stuff down to our lodge. The hot tub was ready for us when we arrived and had a gorgeous view. The kitchen facilities are very useful if you plan on cooking during your stay and the lodge itself was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend highly!!
Nicola
Me and my husband stayed here for 2 nights for our honeymoon. It was the most beautiful place. It was perfect. The owner was very attentive. On arrival we were met by Brandan to take us down to our lodge. On the drive down it looked amazing. We didn't arrive till 18.30pm so was dark but the lighting was amazing really set the evening for us. Hot tub was ready for us. Literally can't fault this place. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for having us. See you soon!
WOW ! Our first impressions driving up the drive ! We were made to feel so welcome , from the initial buggy ride with our luggage down to the lodge to the moment we left . The lodges are beautiful, so cosy and warm , the setting is just beautiful , even in 2 degrees . The service was exemplary , our hot tub being pre heated was a very thoughtful idea , communication with the owners was outstanding throughout , only a short walk to the local pub which was also welcoming and the food was lovely , we thoroughly enjoyed our getaway and cant wait to return . We have some lovely memories and photos we cant wait to share with friends and family and would highly recommend a stay here whatever the season , Many thanks for making our get away such an enjoyable one .
We had a fantastic and short break away. The log cabins are warm comfortable and packed with everything we needed. The location is beautiful. No road noise just the sound of the birds chirping in the morning and the owl at night. While in the log burning hot tub we could enjoy the view of the lake in the day and by night the lovely stars in the sky. Location is great for walking and seeing the views around with the little village about a 1520 minute walk. And by car the shops are 10mins away. Our customer service was 5 stars we had a buggy with all our stuff to the log cabin and help if we needed anything throughout our stay. I would full recommend.
Had the best time, couldnt have asked for a nicer place! Facilities were amazing, it was so peaceful! All the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home, will definitely be back!
Bernard
Both my wife and myself had an extremely relaxing few days at Acorn Lodge. Set in a beautiful spot although smaller than expected the Lodge itself had everything required and more. Very comfortable and designed with plenty of privacy from neighbours while indulging in luxury in a traditional hot tub fueled by a wood burner. The host after dropping you off at the lodge in his quirky designed golf cart ensured we had everything we need and pointed us in the right direction for any local shops for our supplies for the stay, along with enough documentation for all the local sites to see. The farm is located just outside a gorgeous little village only fifteen minutes walk where you can stop for a drink or a delicious meal in a beautiful pub all at very reasonable prices were all the staff along with the locals made us extremely welcome. All in all we both had a truly luxurious and lovely break. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants a lovely tranquil escape. We absolutely loved it.
My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights and couldnt have been happier. Brendan was lovely, the accommodation was gorgeous. Hot tub was warm and ready for us to use. The lodge was well equipped, we will be coming back in the future to stay againhopefully in the Railway Bridge converted property which looks amazing.
Couldn't knock the place. Really clean and tidy. Friendly staff and super helpful and welcoming.
Acorn lodge was an exceptional quality accommodation set around a picturesque small lake in an idealistic peaceful setting. My short stay was further enhanced by the welcoming and attentive nature displayed by Brendan, the property owner, throughout my time at Bridge Water Lake Farm & Fishery.
Kathrine
What a fantastic couple of days me and hubby spent here we booked it very last minute in fact on the Afternoon and by 7. 30 we where there our hot tub was up and running for us which we didn't expect with it being such a last minute booking Everything went smoothly the owner came and took us to the lodge even though it was out of hours nothing was to much trouble for him he gave us the information we needed as to where the local pub was and what time it closed, unfortunately we didn't get to eat there as is doesn't serve food on Tuesdays but we still stayed and had few beers and then had a lovely 10 minute walk across the field back to our lovely peaceful lodge to enjoy the rest of our evening in the Hot tub which was ready for us to use by then. It's a very clean looked after site, rural and private so you don't get interrupted No children and pets allowed which was a bonus, don't get me wrong i love them both, we have 5 grandchildren but it's lovely just having some piece and quite The sitting area and the Hot Tub both have covers so if Unfortunately if it does rain you can still enjoy the beautiful outdoors You have access to netflix if needed but we never once switched the tv on We didn't need as the the outside was fantastic you get to use the bbq which also is your fire pit. Bed linen, Towels and Bath robes are included which was great You will not be disappointed with this place if all you want is rest. Can't wait to go back Thank you very much for a lovely stay we will definitely be coming back
Michael
Lovely stay, photos do not do it justice First class service We recommend Bridge farm lake
It was a very lovely lodge, there was a lot of flies constantly in the lodge, maybe a fly net needs to be fitted on the windows as it was too warm inside the lodge, was unable to keep windows open due to flies.
Richard
Bridge Lake Farm is a lovely peaceful venue. The grounds and lake are very well maintained. The fishing was strictly pleasure fishing but very enjoyable. The lodge was spotlessly clean and exactly as described if a little cramped. Fortunately the weather was great and there is plenty of outside space. The hot tub stayed warm for our whole stay! Brendan was extremely helpful. We had a lovely break.
My Wife and I stayed for four nights and enjoyed every day. Lovely location and enjoyed fishing every day. Well stocked lake. A bit weedy and ideal for recreational fishing. A short walk to local The George and Dragon. Very friendly atmosphere and good evening meals. However, its closed Mondays.Gaydon Motor Museum is well worth a visit. Large collection of vintage vehicles .Just like Dad used to own.Would recommend this lodge location to family and friends. Regards Jeff & Sue Rosser.
Debbie
There aren't enough adjectives to describe how idyllic this location is. We've just had 5 days of peace and quiet. My partner fished most of the day, whilst I lazily sat and listened to music, podcasts, read a book or just sat looking at the wonderful surroundings. The owner has thought of everything yourequire in the lovely little lodges. He even had our hot tub fired up ready for our first evening there. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a very helpful buggy to take us and lots of fishing tackle the 100yds down to our lodge. The local village was a quick walk away, through some fields via a public walkway, over a couple of wooden bridges over streams. Over all a blissful few days and we can highly recommend to any couple, who just want to kick back and relax A
We had such a wonderful time at the lodge from start to finish the facilities and service were outstanding! When we arrived we was met by Brendan in a golf caddy who took us and our luggage down to the lodge. He talked us through how to use the facilities and also set the jacuzzi up for arrival. Any queries we had about anything Brendan and the team responded within minutes! The lodge itself was really cosy with the underfloor heating being very effective in keeping the hut warm. The amenities were great, we had everything we needed to cook for the weekend and wish we had time to use the fire pit bbq as that was a great addition to the lodge. Overall we loved it and will definitely be recommending this place to stay to our family and friends! Thanks so much, Sacha and Lauren
Bethan
We had a lovely break overall at Bridge Lake Farm. The owner Brendan was so attentive, he gave us a ride in the golf buggy to the lodge with our bags and back again & only a text away if needed. You get the starter pack of wood included and it was 20 if you wanted more but its worth it as you get loads. The Acorn lodge does have a slanted roof so be mindful if youre tall but this is shown in the listing & not a deal breaker for us. Wifi was really good! Hot tub & surroundings were lovely and the pub only a 5 min walk past the Alpacas. Would recommend!
This is a small nugget of tranquility which provides you with an incredible ambiance. The chalets are meant for two and within it you get all you need. The hot tub provided with each chalet is the highlight. Having a drink whilst sitting in this Scandinavian bath tub, overlooking the lake is what everyone needs! The hostowner is most gracious and hospitable. Nothing is too much for Brendon. We are certainly hooked!
Fantastic stay and Brendan was a brilliant host, and couldnt be more helpful and an accommodating! peaceful and beautiful place to stay!
Tobias
What a find! The lodges are Bridge Lake Farm and Fishery are gorgeous, private and perfect for an escape away for two. Brendan was very welcoming and friendly and was happy to help with anything we needed! The local area is also lovely to explore. We will definitely be back, thank you so much!
My partner and I were after a weekend away in the peaceful countryside to have some time to ourself to escape the urban life. We booked Acorn Lodge by complete coincidence as it was one of the few places available within the short time frame we booked, and we are SO glad we did. The Lodge itself was outstanding, beautifully clean and every little thing that you might need was thought of and was there in the Lodge. The host Brendan was fabulous, and was able to help us with any of our queries or needs, I had received a message the morning of our arrival to ask if we wanted our hot tub ready for our arrival.which of course was a yes! I couldnt rate Acorn Lodge any higher, it was the perfect location for time away and I will definitely be recommending to friends and returning, thank you so much Brendan!
We had an amazing stay at Bridge Lake Farm and Fishery! The accommodation was so cosy and had everything you needed and the location was perfect! The owner Brendan went out of his way to ensure you had everything you needed! Would definitely come back!

Catanger Llama Trekking - NN12 8LJ
about 7 Miles
This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
Old Dairy Farm Centre - PO30 2NB
about 12 Miles
Suited to families with children of all ages this is a fantastic attraction in Northamptonshire.  There are many special events held throughout the year so don't forget to check what's happening while you are staying in the region.  Some highlights include the lambing weekends and the monthly local food fayres.
Old Dairy Farm Country Shopping and Craft Centre - LE14 3PF
about 12 Miles
From shopping to home cooked refreshments this is a wonderful day out in the pretty village of Upper Stowe.  You can enjoy amazing views over the Northamptonshire countryside and wander around the complex of stone built farm buildings.  Each building houses something different such as the Occasions Florist, Itsy Bitsy Gifts, Hayrack Gallery and Sheer Delights Lingerie.  When it's time for a rest the Barn Restaurant and Tea Room is the place to go.  There is a small selection of animals at the centre too which younger children will love.  They currently have two Kune Kune pigs, sheep, hens and ducks.  If you are looking for upmarket holiday accommodation in the Northamptonshire area then the luxury lodges at Wicksteed Park are sure to impress.
Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens - OX18 4JP
about 27 Miles
This has to be one of the most popular days out in Oxfordshire and is sure to appeal to nature lovers, animal lovers and keen gardeners.  Families and couples will enjoy wandering around this amazing park with a wide variety of mammals and birds to see as well as reptiles. Some of the most popular animals are the Burrowing Owl, Dexter Cow, African Pancake Tortoise and the Bar Headed Goose.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and special offers.
