My wife and I had such a lovely week at oak lodge. The site is beautiful, immaculately kept and well equipped. The kitchen area has everything you need to make proper meals, full range of utensils, pots and pans and the oven with microwave was ideal. Underfloor heating means no cold nights and mornings like other lodges, high quality mattresses, linens, towels and robes made our stay very comfortable. The wood fired hot tub was lovely and water quality was well maintained by the owner. The lake and surroundings are very peaceful and secure. We will definitely be booking a return visit.

Staying in this place is magical . We live in Banbury, we were surprised that such a beautiful place is 7 minutes by car from our house . If you need peace and quiet so this is the place for you. We work as Area Managers on a daily basis so for us the best holiday is, a holiday away from the people. Everything was ready on time, there was a hot tub waiting for us, the standard was very good. The cottage was perfectly clean, the hot tub too. Although the cottages are not far from each other, you have complete privacy. Every morning the duck was already waiting for oatmeal

The incredible customer service began even before we arrived with the fantastic set of instructions so we knew exactly where to go. The lodge has absolutely everything you need and more. Its high quality and the attention to detail is lovely. The lake side setting is breathtaking and the perfect place to unwind. The hot tub is an extra bit of magic ! The lodge was very lovely, really clean and well presented. The whole are was very quite and a beautiful setting. The views were stunning, especially at sunset and the hot tub was a real bonus. The check in and out were very well organized and the owner very friendly. Just tiny suggestion, could have done with some night lights by the beds Definitely would return!!
Hilary
We had a great 3 night stay in Oak lodge. Service was outstanding there when you needed it but at a distance when you were just enjoying your holiday. Any suggestions for improvements were willingly accepted. Both the cabin and hot tub were exceptionally clean and well organised with all that you needed for a self catering stay. Would recommend.
Amazing experience, so peaceful and relaxing. Very clean and tidy and great service provided for Brendan.
Matthew
A perfect location on a lovely little lake for a 4 night break the lodge and surrounding erea are well maintained and Brendan is always around if you need assistance. The lodge itself has everything you need and with the hot tub you can relax the evening away.
Serena
Fantastic experience at Oak Lodge. Would highly recommend it.
Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Bridge Lake Farm and Fishery. Upon arrival the owner Brendan greeted us and kindly took us along with our luggage down to our lodge on his golf buggy, he also set up our log fired hot tub up for us so it was all ready to use upon arrival. The cleanliness and overall standard of the accommodation was outstanding and had a very cosy atmosphere. I would 100 percent stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who seeks a fulfilling, tranquil and peaceful break.
The lodge was just perfect for a short stay. It had everything we needed to fully relax and the local amenities are near by but you are completely in the countryaide. Perfect! Brendon was great and super helpful. Top marks
Collin
I am reluctant to provide feedback as it will highlight how good this place is. If you like to sit back and watch a real life nature program then this is the place. With regards to the wildlife, there is always something to watch. Whether it be a kingfisher or a young Coot, there's always something to catch your eye. Idyllic O
Lovey lodge, and surroundings. Only negative wed have is the lack of basic kitchen things salt, pepper, oil The other thing is that the man asked if we wanted him to get the hot tub ready for us when we arrive, which we said yes to. Then when it came to getting in that evening, it was very hot. He had told us to stir it and it will cool down but it just heated up when we stirred it. Was at about 48 degrees which was unbearable for more than 5 minutes Besides that everything was well kept and very tidy for us, and we really enjoyed our stay.
Patricia
We had a wonderful relaxing time at Oak Lodge. Brendan was so helpful, meeting us and taking our luggage to the lodge, had received a text earlier in the day of arrival asking if we wanted hot tub ready for when we arrived, which it was. He explained everything and nothing was too much trouble for him. The information before we arrived and directions were absolutely spot on and we didn't get lost!! The Lodge was perfectly clean and tidy with a welcome box of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits which was appreciated. If you want a peaceful, tranquil relaxing break, this is it and we look forward to visiting again.
Justin
A fantastic stay in a beautiful location with a extremely friendly & welcoming host in Brendan. We mixed our trip up with a couple of short drives to local towns, Stratford upon Avon is definitely worth a visit, coupled with just making the most of the lodge & its hot tub & fire pitthe perfect little short break away in my opinion!! Highly recommended & Im sure we will be going back again in the not too distant future.
Fabulous holiday caught lots of fish, had good weather, good location for sightseeing.
William
Our stay at Oak Lodge was incredible. Brendan met us on arrival and helped load our belongings onto a golf buggy before driving us down to our lodge. Oak Lodge had great privacy but the location was picturesque. The grounds were well kept and the lodge inside and out was clean and tidy. The hot tub was easy to use. The binder in the lodge was helpful, it stated bus times, local pub and restaurant recommendations, supermarkets, walks etc. We have a pleasant stay and hope to return here in the future.
We had a lovely stay at bridge lake farm and fishery. The accommodation had everything you would need, it is a stunning and peaceful place to be, which made the our time at the lodge very relaxing. Brendan was always on hand for any help we required and there is a book in the lodge with lots of recommendations for restaurants, things to do and other useful information. It is also close to lots of nice places to visit such as Warwick and Stratford upon Avon which was really good to see. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend it to anyone.
Monique
So lovely and relaxing for a couple days away. We had no faults with any of the property and loved everything about it! We were worried at first that the cars werent parking outside the lodges as I had ridiculously overpacked but we were met at the car park with a golf buggy to bring all our stuff down which was incredibly helpful. The hot tub was so easy to use and reheat and was really nice only fault was that there was no gazebo above the lodge we were in however we did mention this and they said theyre in the process of getting the hot tubs covered within all lodges! All the facilities were so easy to use and we absolutely loved our stay. The only issue we did have was with the about of bugs would get into the property during the evening so its best to keep the doors closed but this only happened at times we were having dinner outside or setting the hot tub up. Would 100 recommend to anyone wanting a few nights away with their partner!
Now this is a absolute gem idyllic location in the most beautiful British ... Now this is a absolute gem idyllic location in the most beautiful British countryside peaceful and quite spotlessly clean fishing is great first class PS Brendan is a top bloke

What an amazing little find. Brendan was a perfect host always ready to help if needed but left us to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the setting and the local area. The local area has plenty of walks, we found a nice loop through Wardington, to the canal, in to Banbury and back then 40 minutes after lighting the hot tub it was ready for us to chillax in. We cooked every night in the perfectly adequate kitchen even roast chicken one night! A lot of thought and attention has clearly gone into the design if the lodge we stayed in Oak Lodge. We will definitely return.
Lauren
We had an amazing time. Quiet and peaceful.
A little slice of heaven! Wonderful place & wonderful owner. Every single thing was so well thought out! Spotlessly clean, has everything you need and is so picturesque. We even managed to catch some fish too! I honestly cant recommended this place enough! We will absolutely be back! Thankyou Brendan for a fabulous stay!
Everything was great prior to arrival, communications were clear and easy to follow. Once we arrived, Brendan helped us with our bags and had the hot tub warmed up and ready to go. The lake is lovely, the scenery is great and everything about the setting is so peaceful and relaxing. However, despite how private we thought our time would be the Oak Lodge isnt overlooked by the other lodges, we did have issues. As we thought we were in a position where no one could see into our lodge, we saw no issue in leaving the blinds open during the daytime. These lodges are aimed at couples no children and no pets are allowed so its unsurprising to assume that couples will want to enjoy their time together, so to speak, and be left undisturbed. This wasnt the case. Twice we just happened to see Brendan walk onto the decking from where there is a clear view inside head around to the hot tub and place a tablet inside for cleaning, presumably. The first time this happened, he knocked on the side of the lodge, but walked on before we could answer. The second he didnt even knock. Fortunately, on the first occasion, we just happened to be sat relaxing. The second time we were naked. Luckily the blinds were closed just enough that he didnt see anything we hope, however the hot tub is directly next to the lodge and the lodge is not soundproofed. He could have heard anything. We were fortunate that we just happened to see him cross the decking through a gap in the blinds. He had our number, so we dont see why he couldnt have messaged us asking if it was okay to come round and see to the hot tub. We dont think he realised this was inappropriate, but it was unsettling and ruined what otherwise would have been a nice stay.
Denise
This property is in a beautiful and peaceful location and despite the weather we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was lovely and clean, which has not always been our experience and the owners were very helpful and friendly.
We had a lovely stay at Oak Lodge. The lodge was modern and had everything we needed for our stay. It was so clean as well! The only down side for us is that there was no shop within walking distance, but this is no fault of Bridge lake farm. Only other thing Id say is that for the amount of money you pay, you cant get in the lodge until 4pm and have to check out by 10am, so you only really have 1 full day but apart from that, I would definitely recommend to stay here for a relaxing and peaceful get away.
Georgina
Booked the oak lodge as a surprise for my partners birthday and I was absolutely over the moon! It was unreal so clean and cosy and was stunning at night. Brendan was amazing making sure we was happy and kept us topped up with logs for the hot tub! Will 1000000 be coming back to stay again was way worth it highly recommend if your looking for a peaceful relaxing time away.
Amanda

Catanger Llama Trekking - NN12 8LJ
about 7 Miles
This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
Old Dairy Farm Centre - PO30 2NB
about 12 Miles
Suited to families with children of all ages this is a fantastic attraction in Northamptonshire.  There are many special events held throughout the year so don't forget to check what's happening while you are staying in the region.  Some highlights include the lambing weekends and the monthly local food fayres.
Old Dairy Farm Country Shopping and Craft Centre - LE14 3PF
about 12 Miles
From shopping to home cooked refreshments this is a wonderful day out in the pretty village of Upper Stowe.  You can enjoy amazing views over the Northamptonshire countryside and wander around the complex of stone built farm buildings.  Each building houses something different such as the Occasions Florist, Itsy Bitsy Gifts, Hayrack Gallery and Sheer Delights Lingerie.  When it's time for a rest the Barn Restaurant and Tea Room is the place to go.  There is a small selection of animals at the centre too which younger children will love.  They currently have two Kune Kune pigs, sheep, hens and ducks.  If you are looking for upmarket holiday accommodation in the Northamptonshire area then the luxury lodges at Wicksteed Park are sure to impress.
Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens - OX18 4JP
about 27 Miles
This has to be one of the most popular days out in Oxfordshire and is sure to appeal to nature lovers, animal lovers and keen gardeners.  Families and couples will enjoy wandering around this amazing park with a wide variety of mammals and birds to see as well as reptiles. Some of the most popular animals are the Burrowing Owl, Dexter Cow, African Pancake Tortoise and the Bar Headed Goose.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and special offers.
