Stapeley Pod Reviews

Couldnt recommend this pod highly enough! Fantastic stay from the moment we got there til the morning we left Will be back for sure!
Fantastic property. So cleverly designed and lots of nice extra touches like coffee, tea and milk all waiting for us. Cooking facilities perfectly adequate for what we wanted for a short stay. We particularly wanted a hot tub as a special treat and this one didnt disappoint. Wed love to return to the area but would probably choose a larger pod if we were staying longer.
Suzanne
Excellent views, nice quiet location great hot tub and clean comfy ... Excellent views, nice quiet location great hot tub and clean comfy accommodation, great host, would highly recommend, and definitely will stay again
Stapley Pod is a clean and well equipped little retreat. Its very private and has the most stunning views. The owners were lovely and extremely helpful. The location is a great place to reconnect with nature, and still keep in contact with the outside world with WiFi and mobile signal.
Stephanie
Loved staying here, absolutely beautiful pod, extremely comfortable bed and perfect hot tub, lovely owner that gave us a brilliant recommendation for Sunday lunch. Would definitely stay again
Richard
It was a beautiful weekend in a beautiful setting, peaceful and relaxing just what was needed. It snowed on the Saturday and this just seemed to make the location even more magical and remote. The Prosecco and brownies are a lovely touch, it was comfortable and warm inside and the scenery outside was great for a walk. We will be booking again for another long weekend.
We booked a weekend break here for the end of Feb 2024 we will definitely be returning! The pod was absolutely spotless and so welcoming the Prosecco and homemade brownies were such a lovely touch. It was very cold outside whilst we were there but the pod itself was so warm and cosy. The views were beautiful and the pod itself is really private with fencing separating you from the other pods. Even though it was only 1C in the evening the hot tub was lovely and warm and again spotless. Communication from the owners was excellent will be recommending to all of our friends and family
Richard
Lovely stay and the owners are lovely people it's our second time here and we will be staying again thank you so much
Eloise
A really lovely place to stay if you need to have a little escape from reality. The hot tub is perfect for watching the sunrise and stargazing! The pod is warm and cozy which was great since we visited in January. Everything we needed was provided and the Prosecco and homemade brownies were a lovely touch! Thank you!
Rachel

Natalie
Beautiful pod, perfect location the views are incredible. Lovely touches with the brownies and Prosecco on arrival. The walk to the stone circle from the pod was really nice and well signposted. We couldnt have asked for anything more for our minimoon after just getting married
Michelle
The pod was fantastic has everything you can need we went to re charge for the weekend so didn't leave the pod for 3 days and it was fantastic the views the hot tub the little treats supplied all fab we couldn't of asked for more we will definitely be back again soon . We have been to a few places around Shrewsbury and this pod definitely has the upper hand on them great WiFi. Heating was great and you can't get enough of them views even with the weather rolling in it is beautiful to watch .
Doshane
Lovely place to stay definitely going again.
Rebecca
A lovely stay. The pod was beautiful. Surroundings were beautiful. Lots of information about how things worked which was really helpful. Suprise goodies left for us which was very appreciated. A very well appointed place. Shower is spacious and lots of hot water. Hot tub is private and well maintained. If you are visiting, remember to take handwash and some spray or wipes to clean after cooking etc as these are not provided. The fridge was humming which I just mention as it might need to be looked at, it was quite annoying. But I'm sure it's easily fixed. Only downside is the bed. It's an ottoman one with storage. Great idea, but it did not feel at all secure and sturdy for two plus size visitors. We were scared we would break it. Thank you for a lovely stay. The attention to detail and the way the pods are maintained and looked after was very appreciated.
Linsey
Amazing stay! Pod was beautiful and had everything we needed! We really enjoyed it and the hot tub! X
Richard
The pod was amazing and very clean we wish we could have had our full stay but ... The pod was amazing and very clean we wish we could have had our full stay but we had to leave due to a family illness but will definitely be booking it again
Hi we had a great time at your lovely pod it was really relaxing and peaceful and will be back in the future will definitely recommend it to family and friends just one thing is it needed a washing up bowl or a plug for the sink . Thanks again from Tony & Tracy.
Amazing place to stay. Beautiful scenery, clean and modern facilities and a hot tub! The small touches sets this pod apart, lots of info on what to do in the area left inside which was extremely helpful, free wifi which was fast the delicious homemade brownies and a bottle of prosecco waiting when you arrive. Lots of tea, coffee, sugar, and milk available not just one or two meaning you never had to want for anything in this stay. Had a little chat with the owner about walks in the area she was lovely to speak to when testing the water quality on the hottub. They really do look after you ! Woukd 100 recommend staying here and will do so again.
Olivia
A wonderful break away from reality, the views were amazing especially in the snow! Owners were lovely always checking in making sure we were ok and even helping us out the snow. The prosecco and brownies were a great treat too. Everywhere was clean and the hot tub was bliss especially in the evening watching the stars 1010 stay will definitely be going back
Everything was what I was expecting and more. Clean, nicely decorated, smart use of space, warm, all facilities in working order, privacy, peaceful. A beautiful pod surrounded by beautiful scenery! The brownies very yummy and proseco were a lovely welcoming touch. 1 thing needed a new guest book as we finished one with our comments.

The views and stargazing while sitting in a hot tub were fantastic. Also the little touches such as prosecco and delicious brownies you left for us was a lovely surprise! 5 stars.
Rizwan
Fantastic weekend stay, very clean, the milk and cookies were a nice touch. The hot tub was fabulous
We had a wonderful time at our very own hobbit pod. When we arrived everything was spotless. The chocolate brownies ,milk, coffee, tea bags, and of course the prosecco We used the hot many times relaxing sipping prosecco all this was done in private. The owner Angela was so friendly she came around every morning to check hot tub and ask if she could do anything or get us anything.and have a chat We took our 1 year old son with us and again Angela supplied us with a cot and a high chair at no extra cost. We will definitely come back maybe later in the year but definitely coming back to the pod next summer l will bring my halogen oven as there is no oven .the cooker was fine and a very good microwave but personal preference Only Kind regards John and Sarah
It was the little extras that really made you feel welcome and made it so special.
It was so much better in person than the picture. We will definitely be staying there again soon!
Very Clean and tidy I feel a broom would of been easier to clean with. TV with built in DVD player listed but not in room but overall we really enjoyed our stay at the pod and would defiantly return thank you
