Wayside House Reviews

Thank you for a lovely stay. We found the cottage, facilities, location etc to be generally fantastic. A couple of points to feedback are the supplied amounts of loo roll, bin bags, dishwasher tabs and salt were not quite enough. The amount of chlorine in the hot tub did detract from the experience it caused skin issues for a number of our group, and swimming costumes were bleached and have been thrown away. The lack of access to the key lock box was an issue generally it is useful to have this as it means if the group goes out separately they can get back in without issues whichever arrives back first. Overall great stay though, thank you.
It was a really well stocked cottage. We were really happy with our holiday. We stayed for 7 nights and all had a lovely holiday. would recommend.
We loved our stay at Wayside house, the beds were super comfy and the hot tub was fantastic. Just a couple of pointers that would make the next person's stay even better. A hanging space in the downstairs bedroom would be handy, also a stoolseat in the wet room. The drive was also a bit tricky and our car wheels got stuck a couple of times in the gravel.

Lovely old house, carefully updated, great for multi age group as a previous reviewer said, the pictures and descriptions dont do it justice. The adjoining campsite and facilities were a boon, not a downside at all.. our children enjoyed feeding the chickens too.
Due to the amazing establishment I cannot possibly put anything but the highest rating, however the Accuracy of the Listing was NOT good, this property is far superior to how it is listed and is probably missing a number of bookings as its not listed to the high standard that is provided.
Great property with plenty of space and a great layout for 10 of us. The property looks nicer than the pictures let on. We had a great time and the owners were about if we needed them. Would definitely recommend.
We all had a fabulous stay at Wayside House. It was beautiful, very clean and the kitchen was fabulous and very well equipped. Would highly recommend for a large group friends or family, just perfect!
