The cottage is very cute and rustic with lots of lovely features. That being said there a few points that would have improved our stay. We couldnt recommend this beautiful stay enough. With 3 dogs we can struggle to find places that are dog friendly and safe, however this ticked all of our boxes. Set in a gorgeous location, hosts were friendly and helpful and the cottage was everything you would want for a get away in Somerset. We will definitely be booking again.

Just spent a fabulous few days here. The cottage and gardens are lovely and well kept and it was great seeing the cows at the window every day Was a perfect place for relaxing and the 3 dogs absolutely loved it. The hot tub was brilliant and great for chilling in after a day out and about walking. Everything you need is there, and a wonderful welco me pack for your arrival. We absolutely loved our stay here, beautiful village and great peaceful location. The house is anything you will want and need: comfortable beds, nice bathroom with great shower and big bath and a kitchen well equipped with everything you might need.

The Love Shack is a great house - really comfortable, with very helpful and friendly owners. We have two dogs and it was great to be able to relax because the house is dog friendly and the lovely garden completely secure. There were only two of us but there's plenty of space for two couples and both bedrooms are big and comfortable. Finding the ent rance of the main road is a bit of a trial and took several passes before we spotted it!

What a lovely quirky cottage full of charm. We very much enjoyed our week stay, long walks with the dog and cosy afternoons in front of the fire in the afternoon and evening. Owners were very responsive to our questions and very helpful generally.
Rebecca
We really enjoyed staying here over Christmas, it's a lovely little place in a quiet location that allows you to get away from everything. It was fantastic to find a place that truly has a secure garden for the dogs too.
Neil
A really fabulous cottage with careful thought to dcor and comfort. Even in early Winter, the garden is welcoming and secluded. Perfect for our two dogs who are true escape artists, which they never managed. Excellent location for walks, with plenty right outside the front door. Locations such as Nunney Castle close by, Frome itself, and Wells (and more) give a great day out. Owners help always a short call / text away and the welcome pack (including wine) was great.
Alexa
A wonderful stay thank you, lovely touches in the house and a very well stocked kitchen. Lovely to have a secure garden for the dog too. A great location for walks and exploring the surrounding area. Great nights sleep and waking to the amazing views was just perfect!

A perfect hideaway location in a tranquil part of Somerset. Ideally suited to those fond of walking as footpaths and quiet lanes abound. The area is dotted with pretty villages to explore and very close to Frome. The cottage itself was tucked away, very comfortable and provided everything you might need for a self catering holiday.
Penelope
It was perfect. The cottage had so much character and was really cosy. The kitchen was well equipped from the coffee maker to the washing machine and tumble dryer. There was every utensil imaginable to create a home from home experience in a beautiful setting in Somerset. There were even Bamboo skewers to create kebabs on the fire pit outside. Ever ywhere we looked the attention to detail the hosts had prepared really made our holiday. A welcome pack to be desired to beautiful oasis of garden.
Katie
The Love Shack is a beautiful small cottage right in the heart of Somerset. Its nicely secluded from the rest of the village but with local amenities on hand. The decor and interior are lovely and cosy, especially the living room, which is perfect for relaxing in. The owners were similarly fantastic and always on hand if you have any questions. Wou ld absolutely recommend for a getaway! Thank you to Mr and Mrs Perry!
Gwenda
What a fabulous, quaint little cottage. Perfect for a holiday retreat, the owners were very accommodating and made our 4 month old puppy feel very welcomed. The BBQ was a great success and the hammock a lovely addition. Not easy to find, however, definitely worth the search and I would recommend this cottage for anyone who wants to get away from it all. Secluded but still within easy reach of local ammenities! Loved it! X
