We had a wonderful 4 night stay with every home comfort and much more. Very spacious set in lovely grounds. The hot tub and log burner made it a special occasion. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely cottage, very well equipped kitchen. Spacious but retained a cosy feel to it. Immaculate, spotlessly clean and superbly maintained. Hot tub was fantastic much appreciated after a 12 mile mountain climb! Ideally located to explore Northumberland and the Lakes.
A really beautiful cottage with all the amenities that you need, in a calm rural setting perfect for a relaxing get away. Host were very attentive and helpful.

The best cottage we have ever stayed in. Everything perfect and very peaceful the surroundings completed the general ambience. High quality furnishings and fittings and the bonus of two very friendly collies Sam and Ruby completed an excellent visit. Tom,Joan and Fagin the Chihuahua.

One of the best selfcatering cottages we have stayed in. Very wellequipped, clean, comfortable and furnished to an exceptionally high standard.
The cottage was designed to a high standard with lots of lovely little touches. Everything we needed was provided, even left bread and milk for our arrival. The hot tub was lovely, having two bathrooms was a bonus as was the under floor heating. Only disappointment was the weather. We certainly would book again if returning to this area. Thank you

Excellent everything we needed was there , quiet location , easy access to Lakes and Hadrian Wall etc The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into the comfort of the accommodation and it shows througout. Sadly the weather was not as great as the cottage
Was a lovely cottage! Wonderful location too. Would definitely want to stay there again
We had a lovely relaxing week away at Berrymoor Cottage, which is exactly what we wanted. The cottage itself felt so comfortable and felt like a real home from home. We couldn't fault anything at all. Dorothy and Simon have really thought of everything, anything we needed was there for us to use. It was a lovely touch when we arrived and we came across the bread, milk and marmalade. Really lovely hosts! As a dog friendly place to stay it really is one of the best we have stayed in. We will definitely be booking again.
This was our Third stay at Berrymoor, & every time we stay, we never want to go home. We just love this cottage, so cosy & warm with all the amenities & more. Fantastic location, great walks, & a beautiful picturesque part of this country. We will be booking for next year. Thank you to Dorothy & Simon for everything. Gav & Melanie.
A well equipped, spacious and beautifully decorated cottage. Ideal for a perfect relaxing break or a hub to return to following walking one of the nearby trails, or visiting many of the attractions in the vicinity. We're already considering booking again!

The property is on lovely grounds, the owners dogs were just a delight and the chickens wandering around was just wonderful. We had the best stay and we will be returning. Fantastic location for exploring the lakes and Hadrians wall.

We just wanted to say thankyou for providing such a beautiful holiday cottage. It has everything you need. It has been a lovely week even the rainy days. The cottage was a perfect base to explore the area and it was a pleasure to return to after a day out and about. You are wonderful hosts, your dogs and free range chickens wandering around are lovely, and we will definitely return to the cottage. Many thanks for making our stay so comfortable and knowing what the needs of the customer are tea, coffee milk and sugar, bread and jam and that amazing hot tub. A perfect week in Cumbria. Many Thanks.

Absolutely Fantastic Holiday Cottage! !! WOW what can I say!!! Very well equipped, spotlessly clean and beautiful inside and out. Both the owners Simon and Dorothy have put themselves in their guests shoes! The cottage contains everything you need for a relaxing, hassle free break. I have mobility issues, but for me this cottage was like a home from home but better. From its fantastic ensuite wet roombathroom, to the very inviting hot tub and spacious bedrooms it was a delight to stay here. We have stayed in many holiday rentals with our fur baby over the years, but this place was by far the best! We are most certainly going to return in the near future. So if you are thinking about booking this beautiful piece of heaven, I say don't hesitate! Thank you for a fantastic stay!!!!
Lovely stay, clean and comfy. Hottub was a real treat after a day exploring. Definitely recommend to friends. Thank you.
Bethany
Immaculate cottage, everything you would need. Very spacious and homely. The hot tub was faulty during our stay which was disappointing as that is one of the main reasons why I booked the cottage. Cottage is a little out the way of main tourist villages, for example Keswick is round 45 drive from cottage. Overall, a lovely stay with plenty of walks nearby.
Absolutely fantastic long weekend! Cottage immaculately clean and comfortable. Beautiful setting, sat out the front on a lovely sunny evening and the dogs loved the freedom of the secure garden. The hosts are a delightful couple who are very helpful. Wish we lived here and will definitely be back again sorry we forgot to leave a message in the guest book! xx

We had a fabulous stay at this cottage and will certainly book again. The owners were very friendly and helpful and when there was an issue with one of the showers they rectified it very quickly. The cottage provided everything we could have wanted and is ideally situated.
The property was spacious, quiet and had everything we needed. We usually bring our dog with us on holiday, and this holiday was no different. In all of the properties we have stayed at in the past, our dog has never seemed to settle. However, this property was much different, she settled extremely well as if the property was a home away from home.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Fabulous gardens and hot tub. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Id definitely recommend this property.
This cottage is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need for your break. Extremely clean, tastefully decorated, perfectly proportioned and with kind and welcoming owners.....their two friendly collies are a bonus! Would love to visit again and would certainly recommend to others.
We had an amazing holiday staying at Berrymoor. All of the faculties to have a perfect week away were provided to us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was beautiful and it was lovely to get in the hot tub after a full day of exploring the surrounding areas. Even the pooch had a fabulous get away! I would highly recommend staying at Berrymoor and we will return! We can't thank Simon and Dorothy enough

Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery - CA3 8TP
about 5 Miles
This is a museum and art gallery in one and will suit those looking for an educational and cultural day out.  You can explore the fantastic art collection including Fine Art, Decorative Art and Textiles.  If you love nature then this aspect of Tullie House will appeal. The museum holds large and important collections of zoological, botanical and geological material. And for lovers of history there is plenty to wet your appetite here. Tullie House collects a wide range of historic materials including objects, ephemera (printed material), photographs and associated information files.  We think this museum and art gallery are excellent value for money as well.
Lake District Wildlife Park - CA12 4RD
about 22 Miles
We love this day out in Cumbria where you're encouraged to "take a fresh look".  Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project.  The Asian Fishing Cat is also well worth a look - these cats are known for diving under the water and catching fish!  Other activities include fantastic flying displays and play areas for the little ones...
Kielder Water Bird of Prey Centre - NE48 1BT
about 23 Miles
Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.
Ullswater Steamers - CA11 0US
about 24 Miles
This is an award winning Lake District attraction and they have been operating cruisers on Lake Ullswater for over 150 years.  There is no better way to explore the lakes than on water and you could even combine a cruise with a spectacular walk.  For great days out in this region then this attraction is highly recommended and will appeal to couples as well as families.  Corporate groups are also well catered for.
