The lodge was cosy and had everything we needed, even if the TV signal was a bit patchy-no big deal since we just took our laptop and explored outside most of the time. The hot tub was a real highlight, perfect for relaxing after long walks. We loved the food at The Globe Inn; it's a bit on the pricey side, but the generous portions and good quality make it worth it, plus there's a discount which is handy. The location is great, close enough to the Lake District walks and about an hour to Windermere. Overall, a lovely stay!
