I would love to give this property a good review. The location is lovely with easy access to the North Pennines and Hadrian's wall, and the North Lakes and Solway coast a short drive away. The owners are friendly and the property is comfortable. But there are so many defects in the equipment that I cannot recommend. I have given the owners a list, Read morebut several of these problems have been mentioned in previous reviews this year. To describe the property as having an enclosed garden is not correct, and the private patio is actually in the car park. There are lots of places nearby to walk dogs, but no enclosed area at the cottage itself. Hide

The location is excellent for exploring the area and many outdoor activities. The cottage is cosy comfortable and well equipped and the outdoor chairs catch the sun most of the day.

As it was during the Christmas/New Year period the little touches such as the Christmas tree and other decorations made it feel very cosy and us very welcome. Everything about the holiday was good, except the weather but nobody could do anything about that. The property was clean and comfortable and well equipped and the owners very friendly and helpfull. We had a lovely week.
